My theory would be that they were trying out a newb and let them have a play. Someone more senior has stepped in and shut down the risk. Not that they know anything more than anyone else does. Just being sensibly risk averse. I would have gone mad and shorted it harder but I guess things don't work like that if it is not your money.

Seems to happen on significant rises with no significant news being recently published. At what level though?

It seems some people have a problem with messaging. Why try to get the good news across under such a childish title? Presumably the message isn't worth much or has no real substance.

I guess QBT has appeared on some top risers lists and the pumpers and fishers have arrived.

OK. So it's only day one. But having created the rumour of an RNS, whatever the source, the longer it does not come the more this is likely to drift down. That would be a bit ironic. Those apparently trying to talk the price down to buy in lower get their lower price as a result of those who started the rumour. Of course any such action might be moderated as a result of the no show.

You might need to check your head. You are, after all, part of that rumour.

If and when the RNS drops it will be a fudge saying something along the lines that the Lab modelling achieved similar results when testing with a Miner. They will give no details of the nature of that testing but they will go on to claim that they have identified limitations in the method when asked to scale to the present network difficulty. The solution will be implementation of a more sophisticated AI model which will require building and testing and that will take more time and involve more cost. In other words a fund raise.

They will not tell you why it did not scale but, ignoring the fact that they are likely to have been dealing with false positives the underlying reason may well be because as the difficulty increases then so does the search space. As a result an AI model developed at lower difficulties will no longer match to that space and need both scaling and retraining.

Of course if any of the above made any sense or even turns out to be close to being true then that should beg the next question. If the model fell over when it had to cope with a higher difficulty how are you guaranteed that a new model trained for any particular difficulty will not fall over when the difficulty changes again. Are they going to be continuously chasing the end of the rainbow?

People point out the deliberate errors made by others so they respond by dialing in the insults and false accusations. Then you step in as the supposedly reasonable moderator and decide that their behavior is a perfectly acceptable human reaction to being shown up and adopt their tactics along the way. They have trained you well.

I get the impression from the above video that Wyld have suffered setbacks in terms of hardware delivery. IIRC that was meant to be sorted September 2023 and due to be ramped up but in this video Williamson is still talking about a large pre-order backlog. He does however suggest in the Q&A session that the lead time for product from order is 8-12 weeks so hopefully they are on track to actually knock some of this product out of the door and start generating the revenue he refers to.
