so, in conclusion, the main thing for me is that now mr williamson is apparently saying wyld is a satellite operator as opposed to being a virtual satellite operator so, unless he is messing up his words, that means wyld now has its own satellites which would be a big leap.

perhaps someone should press him on that point?

which, to me, suggests software rather than hardware, with the possibility that we are talking Software Defined Radio.

After all you can't weld a new saucepan on a Satellite once it is in orbit and I doubt that, although it might be a remote possibility, that Wyld or someone else have launched some new ones with their specific saucepan welded to it.

Then again Williamson does say they are providing the Satellite.

Elsewhere during the interview there appears to be some confusion over delivery of product. Initially he suggests that product is being delivered to "The Field" but later on seems to back down and just say it is being delivered, presumably to "The Customer".

The difference being that in order to get in "The Field" the product must *already* be with "The Customer". So take a guess that advance product has already gone to some of the main customers, been tested and verified at base and is with a local courier to be left in someone's bin.

Previously Mr Williamson has always described Wyld as being a "Virtual Satellite Operator". This will likely be because the company uses other people's satellites.

Otherwise I am left to assume that perhaps Jeff interviewed Device Authority and through his quotes, as published by Sweepie, they have in effect admitted that Microsoft likes them and gave them the award because they can deal with legacy devices.

In that light the value of the award along with the value of the associated market appears to be slightly diminished.

The first was published just over an hour ago. The second thirteen days ago. In the first Williamson suggests that they are going to be delivering product against the backlog in the last week of this month. In the second Williamson says that they had component delivery problems and had to re-roll product to overcome that.

However some time ago he suggested that component delivery was and would not be an issue. I had assumed that this was a result of the company having a bunch of NOS from their purchase of Amiho. The IC's are regularly seen on their publicity material for lorawan modules.

I'm going to suggest, once again, that the disruption has been caused by a fundamental shift in the technical specification of the product driven by a requirement to integrate operation into the SWARM constellation of LEO Satellites. This will have meant that they had to scrap old stock and rerun production and will be the reason for the most recent fund raise.

Once this hurdle has been overcome and it looks like they are successfully dealing with it we will see them back on track and making further progress. Of course I may/will be totally wrong but then again it is going to be one of those 'we will never know' things.

I have been advised, by myself, that when a stock is active and MM's want to dump the floor manager allows discretionary offers over bid so idiots will post how their dummy trades indicate that MM's are either short of stock or desperate to buy in order to fill a massive order on bulletin boards such as this.

I can't see Wyld plugging that gap but it may be a reason for the interest.

I would not wish to be out of character but I kind of get the recent cash raise would not be taken too well but circumstances may/will have forced it. Given they have supposedly started production and delivery of product at what I would assume to be scale this month then we might hope for some news about how that is going. It may take some time but the longer they leave it the lower it is going to go.
