I have the feeling a further delay is about to be announced, you may be correct in that the emphasis will switch to western banks, however im not sure it would have a positive effect unless we were promised an announcement next week. I suspect news would have leaked in the city if this huge deal was about to be announced and we would have seen some action on the sp. Somethings afoot, we may be close now otherwise we would have been told before today, but i suspect another short delay. This is trying my patience to the limit.

previously we have had early notification that an extension would be granted. I wonder if 'i's are being dotted and 't's crossed at this very moment. weve had no bad reaction to no news on the sp yet

news is a finance package to take us to production. The chinese have caused delay after delay, they have effectively been given an ultimatum, stump up 350mil by tomorrow or we will go elsewhere. Its been such a long wait, this should have gone through Q3 last year but chinese bureaucracy has caused sooo many hold ups. Also merger with russina, another project in the pipeline. Btw this also means it will be dual listed so you can shove them in an ISA if the merger goes through. I have to say I was expecting some bad news today, nothing so far. On closer examination of the trades yesterday, there was nothing that started it off, no run of sells, no major holder offloading. It just seemed to be a domino effect with loads of stops being hit. Let's hope we climb back up

Dont know, but i suspect a leak of furter delays. Some may say tree shake, by my reckoning about 800k shares got taken on stop losses this morning. The only problem with the tree shake theory is that you would expect the SP to rise again shortly afterwards, but we havent.

Yes youre quite right he opend the CFD last june, he dosent actually hold the shares. The rules changed on CFDs a few years back to prevent people from using them to hide insider trading, previously these huge positions didnt need to be declared.
