Meanwhile all things EV battery materials - battery manufacturers & commodities experts have been seen to remain in a navel gazing stance [in EU/UK] when asked by anyone with nous "WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO GET YOUR MATERIALS FROM - HEH ??".
I have taken the first steps to being awarded a Knighthood (Order of the Patient Investor) - I am sure though that there are many others who will be in competition with me for that one.

EC trying to get back to using fossil fuels to cover up their incompetence in terms of no crude refining facilities/energy independence. Politicians really ****ed-up there. It's one of many reasons that I voted 'out'.
One thing is for sure - climate change and politics is far more hazardous to humans.

Fingers - as I wrote my post - your last sentence came to my mind also, so am in agreement.
I would expect the 'supply/demand commodity price cycles' that you mention be taken into account in off-take negotiations - price will come down to an acceptable level in time (18-24 months min) as all commodities do but that is only likely when there is plenty of product. Let's get mining - lets get the revised timeline.
I am hoping that KC has enough integrity to satisfy his goals - our goals - the market needs
