I feel as though over time the UK press will indeed soon start to compare us to Fever-Tree in terms of the growth story. CBD is going to be everywhere and it will be one of the main investment gold rush stories to cover, along with EV related metals and renewables etc.

The margins and resulting potential profit here are simply mind blowing. I really don't think it has quite sunk in for many yet - very rare to find a little company like this at this price!

Craigy - I agree that the USA listing needs promoting more. There’s a reason the American markets are always more buoyant than ours, and I am sure they will be thinking about this as it will really help.

Can you imagine once they get this going how little free float there will be?

Even now this share is pretty tightly held in my estimation (there are a few documents out there indicating the share register that have been posted here before that confirm), but even with full LDA shares exercised over time we are probably only looking at 250 million shares (currently 200 mill of course). That is not very many at all, and is one of the reasons (besides the superb prospects of Zoetic) that the shorters are struggling to take this down and are only just taking the edge off us if anything.

I agree KD - This can definitely be a life changer of a share.

All we need to see in the next update is that initial sales and reaction to the products are indicated to be strong, and the beginning of a reduction of losses to show where this goliath is headed. It will take some time to fully roll-out and scale, but the market is forward looking and will start doing the maths if these things happen.

I also look forward to engaging with the unsubtle shorters if and when this is shown to be the case.

The bigger concern right now is early takeout before true value is able to be realised.

I and many others here have made our bets through the share price by investing.

The amount of time and energy he’s spending makes me suspect he has too in the opposite direction, and now the trade is looking quite under the weather for him. “But the market cap is so big” he’s probably screaming at his screen.

Funny to see all these characters popping up now. I do wonder if they are spurred on by one of the notorious bear bloggers as part of some kind of orchestrated campaign?

All the long term holders I speak to are very bullish indeed, and I've heard nothing negative said about our finance deal at all. The opposite, in fact. Some of them are buying at what they consider such bargain prices.

Everyone has to do their own research, but I wouldn't trust a word of what's being written online here lately. Looks like people are trying to talk others out of their shares.

I prefer to stick to the facts of what the company itself has told us. We have a big distribution deal that is slowly but steadily rolling out, and we are also in a big tobacco store chain in the states. It's very exciting indeed. The finance deal might help scale up faster and take a bigger slice of the huge market sooner than we could have without it.

What would you have to say for yourselves if we get another John Story TR1? Time will show who is right and who is full of it.

In my view, perhaps the biggest bullish indicator was the directors buying a lot of shares at about half of the current price. Not enough is said of this. They invested a significant amount of personal capital, have not sold yet, and I don't believe they did it just to double their money. Then there's the 480p John Story tie in.

All the signs are there as to where the directors and John Story seem to think this company and its share price is heading.

The CEOs seem very honest, focused, hard-working and genuine - you only have to listen to the interviews out there, particularly this one from sharetalk:

I think ZOE is a good takeover play.

Someone like BAT could buy us as traditional Tobacco is on the way out.

My hope is the company gets to develop the market enough before one of these big tobacco giants could step in and buy us out too early. Maybe that is why John Story is building such a huge stake as he sees this?

So many shorters and bears have missed what ZOE is about, focusing on oils etc and comparing to other CBD plays. There are quite a few CBD companies for that market (and of course we have a share of that market), but Zoetic is the only company from what I can see that is finding a niche in tobacco replacement. And what a huge market that can be. And if someone else tries to come in, it could also help develop the market, but we have first mover advantage.

Footfall already comes in to buy cigarettes into these stores, so retailers and consumers will be looking to plug that lost revenue over time and it’s happening it seems with the new distribution of Chill products in the the USA smoking chain, let alone the AATAC deal.

A lot to look forward to for Zoetic shareholders ! This could be the Redbull of CBD in my opinion, and let’s not forget what Eric Schrader said in that recent RNS about us outselling famous brands!

Billyboy2fromiii not every investor would take the timings you describe. I personally won’t be opening an ISA straight away on 6th April, for example.

Some people may be selling to put into an ISA next tax year after April 6th.

Personally I’ve been buying along with John Story’s buying these last months as I like to follow the smart money when it’s obvious and laid out!

Not a fault of any one individual, but I could barely get through the podcast with all the talking over one another, even if the overall message was well intended. Would have been good to hear more from Zak if he’d been allowed to speak as he made valid points!

Based on past news flow pacing and also the recent buys others have noted, I believe we will have news in the next few days and this should be back well over £1 I think.

It’s been quiet here but remember they didn’t name the plan “prepare for lift off” to then go on to disappoint the market.

Doesn’t hurt to remember the following:

- run by experienced experts in cannabis sector

- exceptional sales wing headed by Eric Schrader who really believes in the product he is selling

- not focused on the small market of oils and creams etc, but on replacing tobacco products (bigger market). Market doesn’t yet see this as was focused on sales from the online business.

- Repeat sale product unlike oils etc which is less this class of product

- huge profit margins, low weight/volume to product, long shelf life, low storage costs for distributors

- small number of shares in issue, small free float shares traded on the market due to committed shareholder base and large long term shareholders on the book

- multi-millionaire John Story continues to buy lately (see holdings TR1 RNSs)

- funded with financing

- soon to go international for further growth potential (previous RNSs mention Europe/UK)

- 88k store USA national distribution agreement with AATAC (undervalued by market in my view)

- recently added to smoking specialist retail store chain in America which is one of the biggest in the USA

- company consistently used words such as “overwhelmed” in relation to the response to the products and they are said to outsell famous brands
- first mover advantage in the markets (despite being listed under oil and gas), but not yet recognised by wider market

- UK distribution / FSA approval previously announced to go into UK retail. News due.

- stock has been heavily shorted and they will have to close at some point if they haven’t already

- in may 2019 Forbes reported the CBD market could be worth $20 billion by 2024

And much much more I’ve missed that others can add to....

Do your own research, but I believe this is a sleeping giant at the moment and right now it’s a question of how quickly they can scale the business and manufacture product to meet demand.

What return are Candy & Rosen looking for on the £100m at 50p?

Based on an increase of 1.8% of 196,000,000 shares in issue (he appears to have gone from a holding of 9.46% to 11.26% on that TR1?) and allowing for an average buy price just over 90p or so, unless my maths is way off I’d estimate he’s added another £3.2m or so worth of shares.

I could be wrong!

Chill CBD smokeables in particular could be huge in Mexico if a licensing deal to manufacture and distribute product there were made.

I'm not too concerned about finance and agree that logically it will likely come in the form of a cash rich strategic partner. Hopefully the placing that just happened will be the last market based raise. It appears the recent placing was carried out in order to allow the company to finish off all necessary works to be 100% ready for that final partner to come on board. What a gift it was recently to get to buy below the placing price on the open market.

Time to just take advantage of the current pricing and just add to our holdings. This was always a long term hold, but we are all in nice and early here before the herd. In today's pump & dump market it will take some time, but it's easy to see a lot of value here long term. Compared to some of the hot stocks it's just not a sexy sector, but that also attracts me to the stock as if we have a correction later in the year this is the kind of stock that should weather a storm well as it's an essential resource. I still think we'll at least double in price this year anyway, probably a lot more, but appreciate that's just speculation.

In summary, a great team, world class asset with finance the main sticking point for now. Whether we go 4p or 7p short term doesn't matter too much - I'm continuing to buy here when I can.

Graham "Mr Potash" Clarke will deliver for us and the asset will speak for itself ultimately. Comes across as one of the most genuine and experienced board members I've seen in the markets of late.
