Down 14p in a week - from what was already a (seemingly) low price. Pathetic - just glad that I shifted a good chunk to EZJ a while back, which has saved me from having my nuts completely crushed. The mythical price surge here is always just around the next corner, then the next one, then the next one......

Despite the thin veneer of respectability that share trading has over gambling on racehorses or greyhounds, the truth is that really I'm no different to the sad, scruffy old git in the bookies, propping up the counter, and telling anyone who'll listen that he's onto a sure winner in the 4.30 at Kempton Park, and if only he had put his cash on a different nag in the last race, he'd be sorted. And can he borrow a tenner?
