Hi Garonne - we seem to follow each other around via our investments. On the bright side, not that long ago Pru was £6, now a tenner. Hopefully a similar path here. Just need titanium balls . Unfortunately, mine are more a cotton/synthetic blend.

Garonne - I feel your pain. Hard to believe that only 3 months ago the price was 590. Now we are struggling to breach 470. At this sort of price at least the dividend yield will be quite high, which might hopefully attract some buyers.

Garonne - hard to disagree. The lack of post covid recovery here is very disappointing. I would get out, but I held IAG for the longest time, and they hovered around 150/170 for years (literally). Then when I ran out of patience and sold for a small profit, they soon rocketed up. Wouldn't want to have that happen again, so will probably just trim a few here over the next week or two, but keep (for me) a fairly large chunk, hoping for £6 at least. The fact we are struggling to even get over a fiver is very frustrating, and selling any at this price seems counterintuitive, but with my Wizz holding as well, I am overexposed in airlines, so will have to suck it up.

Stille - fortunately yes. Like you said, going nowhere this morning, but perked up nicely this afternoon, so I took most of my beer money, leaving some added to my longer term pot. From a trading point of view, I don't like these 3 day weekends, as we have all seen how quickly things can change in a short period of time; a missile here, a Trump tweet there, and it can all change incredibly quickly. Not so important for the longer term holding, but I do like to dabble as well, which occasionally leaves me overexposed. Fortunately resolved that today, although still in deep by my meagre standards. Still- no risk, no reward. Or as Burt Reynolds so memorably put it in 'Deliverance'; "Insurance? S**t, I've never been insured in my life. I don't believe in insurance. There's no risk."
