Not just me that has a knack for picking dogs then!
Are there any shares making PIs money?
Really hope that todays rise was on the back of some real positive news.
Have sent the Barbi Manchester links to my friend who is on a Lupus Europe work group.
She has not seen that link and didnt have time to talk as she needs to prepare a presentation for a group meeting tomorrow in Brussels.
I wonder if the previous buy/selling of Berry will affect the mindset of Apollo?

Interesting when you see the major shareholders in Berry. Some familiar names there.
RNS, The Berry group have asked for due diligence with regards to potentially making an offer.
Could start to get interesting.
Its totally disheartening. I had so much hope in this treatment. I know Immupharma are a lot more than just a Lupus treatment but we all now its the number one goal.
I actually have a free carry but want to stay holding as i want so much for this to be a success.
Stupid i know as sentiment shouldnt come into investment decisions.
But FFS Sylviane get a grip of your baby.
Something i havent considered until now. We have, for a long time, had this 3 drill programme. Funded for the 3 drill programme.
We have totally focused on this. Desperate for success, understandably.
Now we are getting close i wonder what is the plan for beyond this juncture?
LE would be fantastic but do we have a contingency?
Pim Veervat with your £2.5 million and Simon Kesterton with your £1.5 million per year .https://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/company-officers/RPC.L but you feel you can not take our company forward but are going to go forward with Rome Bidco Ltd then i suspect you do not have the best interest of shareholders at the forefront of your motivation. How on earth can you expect that level of renumeration but absolve yourself from any responsibility. If you can do it for Rome Bidco why can you not do it for RPC? I am a shareholder, i am an employee, i have my pension intertwined with the company.
When RPC bid for bpi Films they already had undertakings of 20.75% of TVRs, I done ever recall the slightest grumbles that the price was too low and it breezed through with 99.93% of votes for.
Don't expect this will be quite as cut and dried.
Still not heard from any of the main owners of the company, except for the negative reception from Aviva.
Could be an extremely costly mistake from the board.
I will hold onto my stake and continue to maintain my decent dividend.
Ok, well Apollo can kiss my swinger's.
I was reluctantly going to to accept their piss poor offer until I realised I had major stakes in my SIPP.
I find it extraordinary that SLA have said nothing.
They hold just shy of 10% and the sale would be worth nearly £310 million. A third of a billion pounds!!!!!
Yet nothing?
Wish I was a fly on the wall with the phone calls that must be doing the rounds.
As no expressions of support have come from ANY of the top 10 holders with a combined 37.63% then what chance does it have?
I know its very early days but just cant this being accepted.
@OnePlusTwo, my bosses may disagree that I work for RPC, ho ho. But yes you are correct, although I'm not sure which site it may have posted on. Anyway, cheers.
I am torn. Disappointed with the offer but would still take a bit of profit. Would love another party to surface.
However how likely is this to complete if no one else comes in?
Irrevocable undertakings by the directors who say they will advise close relatives to sell. And some small time investment company. Less than 2% combined. Hardly a glowing endorsement from the institutions. Wonder if SLA are regretting putting the for sale sign up at the AGM?
It could be extended further if all parties agree.
Patience is wearing thin but it's a possibility.
Apollo have had more extensions than the female cast of TOWIE.
I had literally just responded on our works Whatsapp group at 4.20pm that Apollo had until 5pm to make an offer or withdraw and at 4.22pm the RNS was released. I got my notification through VOX markets.
Well my opinion is that a deal is all but done with the price being the delay.
Clearly states Due diligence is complete, at that point theres apparently nothing in the accounts that would scare them away. And only extending for 3 working days is almost a "put up or shut up" to me.
If I was a betting man I would say 80/20 in favour of an offer coming in.
Originally thought £10 but will revise it down to £9.
BWTFDIK except its going to be an interest start to the week.
I wonder what 7am will bring?
Yet another extension? I think so. They do have until 5.30 pm to make an announcement though I think.
They are certainly conducting very diligent due diligence.
Not quite the answer to your question but a few months back the company i work for (RPC) had to release an RNS stating that they were in talks with two PEs when it was revealed in the Sunday papers financial sections. We have still had no offer but it shows how low the bar is set over when these things need to be announced.
No S8 I meant other players in the division.
But you have no interest really do I will end any conversation with you.
Bain have ceased talks. Apollo have an extension until 21st Dec. Expect a sizeable drop today. That could entice others in.
Were those trades after close on Friday reported correctly?
Some huge orders completed there.
Are we getting close?
