In four years 'Rosie' has had not one good thing to say about CASP, seems much more keen to dampen sentiment going forward; safely ignore.

I wasn't suggesting people do similar, we all have varying tolerance to risk. It's still under 3% of my total investment assets. The point I was trying to make, is that in my opinion the timing seemed good for a significant addition.

With possibly the most expansive, accelerated drilling programme in the company's history, across 4 blocks, commenced already and with results to come over the following months, I think people will look back on this period of the share price languishing around 2p, as a missed opportunity.

We know why it's down here of course - existing holders have heard it all before and the few potential new ones are probably put off by what they read here and elsewhere.

The reality and realisable value of the assets; and the current market appreciation of those same assets, are not one and the same thing.

Nor are 'Clive and co' uniquely to blame for this state of affairs. Sure, their history of communicating to the market hasn't been entirely without blemish, but the intention is good and will be seen as justified as developments continue.

My only gripe at this stage is that they haven't done more to pull in fresh investor interest, including institutional - there's a limit to how much existing private investors can commit to this without becoming overweight in one stock; it needs fresh interest. Are you listening, Clive? Yes the Aim market is crap at the moment for companies like this, but there are some actions that could help with relatively little effort, and surely this would be one of the easiest .....

Have a look at today's trades and explain why they dropped the bid. Look at the trades and compare buys with sells. They dropped it after a 30,000 sell. That was just £600.

Look at the buys that came after in comparison. And yet, see the change on the day.

They can have as many related party transactions as they like, if it helps generate revenues near term, funds the deep oilfields development, and lifts the valuation.

Very decent yield still, at around 11.81%. Now on a firmer, more sustainable footing, I think these should re-rate in weeks ahead. Particularly if Iran situation is resolved positively.

I think people might have a different perception if they attended meetings and heard first hand the rationale behind what's gone on and what's to come. One of two on here will be perennially negative because that would suggest appear to suit their position, but the fact is the CE is a valuable asset, bought at a very competitive price compared to replacement value, positive for the balance sheet, saleable at a good price if need be but more valuable near term as an income earning asset when the charters under discussion are finalised.

No, the 1 EUR a quarter is based on pre-consolidation, it says that in the accompanying notes. Currently around 11.04% yield at new dividend policy and current exchange rates.

Still a decent yield. And more sustainable going forward.

You can totally understand Clive's criticism of Aim market when you see today's reaction to today's positive RNS and drilling programme news.

The savvy will be buying in anticipation of that news from the drill bit, plus heat treatment to get WS producing higher volumes etc. They've announced four new drilling projects today, two are sidetracks and two are new wells. Plus a pump on deep well 803 to resume production there.

Decent and sensible drilling programme, happy with that.

It won't put a rocket under the share price but it's all good for progress towards endgame.
