I agree with you bluemoon. I get tired of the football mentality of some cheering one on slating another, they will all do well. Odx wind up avct, avct wind up ncyt. At the end of the day NCYT is making millions every day, the others have potential to also, especially with project moonshot. Odx are the most annoying, it's like small man syndrome.

Just saw that an increasing number of people with no symptoms are going for tests. Whilst I don't condone this as it takes away limited tests from people who need it, it highlights that testing is now widespread, growing, and here to stay. Anyone and their dog with a slight sniffle will want a test.

Also state they built up stock to provide emergency demand and keep consistent supply. So the gov needs tests, we have tests, we also have a good reputation with them from excellent performance and existing supply. No brainer, deal done in my mind.

Well in June they had 25m monthly sales, and I doubt that was full capacity, so could be significantly higher. Also re-read the Apr NHS statement, seems the NHS has an option to increase the volume and duration in that (was c1.2m tests a month). I suspect both options were taken at the very least.

Sure, of course need to be patient and I'm looking forward to come the end of the month. I just do find it rather misleading if we aren't being informed of price sensitive information, if as others have raised they only want the share price to go up when their bonus scheme timings kick in.

If its a big upgrade to the contract then i'd suggest yes, as increased revenue would obviously have an effect on the share price. A renewal probably not, although again it would increase revenue over time so arguable. They are obviously rapidly increasing their NHS resources so must have more business, just irritates the hell out of me that they are keeping it all quiet.

Beggars the question though as to why they haven't released an RNS, as a significant NHS contract should require that very thing as it is price sensitive information. I don't doubt they have indeed won one, but to not release an RNS about it is starting to hack me off.

A fair post Cautious. Many of us are in multiple covid stocks, and they should all do very well from their hard work to develop their products. I personally get annoyed with people on any of the boards harping on about one to the detriment of another. They all have their place, and there's no reason they cant all be very successful, they are all certainly needed.

I don't disagree a large contract would boost us up quickly, If it were hundreds of millions you'd probably see an instant rerate to c500p. I'm just not too concerned if it doesn't appear, as sales are still excellent and increasing by all accounts with the new products. Might take longer to get there in that scenario, but 500p is the minimum I'd expect this year.

People get too hung up on one contract from one country. Its not just NCYT, see it across the covid space. Its a global pandemic, and NCYT in particular are not exposed to any one place given their market is what 130 known sales markets... I personally believe their is an NHS contract inbound by the way, but if we get it or not is irrelevant to my investment as its just a drop in the ocean.

They just signed an agreement with Korea that could earn them up to 1bn though, that wont be in last reported results. It is still speculative to a degree though, but its incorrect to assume they are purely speculative. I still see NCYT as being the safest bet for a good return, but then I expect both to do well that's why I'm invested in both. I see no reason why all good covid stocks cant make excellent returns, its not all or nothing like many people seem to believe.
