Well what an excellent day.

Change in sentiment and fortune can come unexpectedly. When everyone is waiting for drill results and worrying about them not affecting the SP as we think they should, something totally unexpected changes sentiment and gives us a boost. Just glad I didn't sell for small gains and kept the faith since I now believe path here has more certainty. This happened to another of my main holdings recently. OXB had been trading in a zone for about 4 months, then out of the blue a take over bid materialises, SP rises 50%. I invested in that because of the fundamentals and the same applies to this. The temptation is to trade but it can catch you out.

Seems to be moving up. Bid just moved up to 1.45p. Can sell large amounts over this price.

It's hard to say what a single RNS on one many expected drill results will do to the SP . But what is definitely not priced in is the full set of results and the production of the MRE off the back of them. Zeus have indicated that the uplift for Redmoor should be 1.6p to 4.2p on this.

Just shows that there is a lot of upside here in the next 2 months. 1.6p to 4.2p on Redmoor alone.

I may be naive here, but since the placing was oversubscribed, hopefully the company had some choice over who the placing shares went to. One would hope that the company had done some due diligence on the investors chosen. Rather than being negative that the new investors will dump shares asap, maybe they will see the long term prospects like many here and invest more.

One of my biggest worries here had been that the company was almost entirely owned by small private investors. We all know how fickle they can be, myself included, which can lead to high volatility and huge swings in SP. Always said we need institutions and large investors involved to give a more stability.

As the demand for shares was greater than the placing maybe some of the new investors will buy more on open market to top up their holdings.

This placing is great news. Yesterday I posted a question about what the company is doing with regard promoting the company and spreading the word. I got my answer very quickly! No discount and accelerated growth .Perfect. This set a base for those that were worried about a dip.

That's a fair point, but there is not much selling either. Needs more news for impetus, which to be fair is in the pipeline and with a known timeline.

Don't know what the company are doing regarding promotion, but the flurry of activity and the webinar last October did seem to help. Hope they are spreading the word. No point in having good news if no one is listening.

This a cheap buy at the moment. Wish I could add more but already fully loaded.

Think this should re-rate over next 2 months with multiple news due and MRE to be published before end of Q1.

I know expectations over results are high and we all want them asap but I don’t think they are late. We have no idea about the work required to produce the results. Maybe some of the processes just take time. The only date that we have been promised is the MRE in Q1.

Don't think the further drill results are overdue or late. Drilling complete , awaiting results of analyse. But they are expected any time now. Exciting times.

That fine daltry. My original post was not aimed at you anyway. Really don't think there is anything more to say on this. No drama, just a discussion.

I did say 'and posting things that are incorrect' which is the important bit. So you are only taking issue with half of my point. Saying things that imply that nothing will be happening here for the rest of the year is incorrect and I wanted to highlight that. There is a lot of near term news due. This was the exchange of posts that started this argument.

Also presumably people that are posting positive posts are holders and are promoting their investment. Presumably people that come on make false negative claims are not holders. Don't think you need to balance those sets of people. That said there is nothing wrong with posting concerns provided they are fact based.

Lot of shares changing hands and for every sell there seems to be a keen buyer.

Been a long term holder here from the beginning so down multiples. This was truly in my bottom drawer and had been thinking of using loss to offset CGT. But this is now getting interesting. May hang on a bit longer.

Thanks for your detailed response Troutisout. I do do the things you are saying and did in this instance. Maybe the word irritated was overstated. Not my way to filter. I know everyone is entitled to their own strategy, however when people post with a view to influence people in a negative way or say things that are not correct, it does need to be highlighted and called out. All fun and games.

Fair enough but I do get irritated by the subtle but obvious de-ramping. Quite often come on as a pair supporting each other.

All sounds like a subtle de-ramp. Like 'wouldn't bother here for a while, might as well sell and have a look later in year'. Then pointing in the direction of other opportunities.

Think there has been a lot of discussion here recently about all the news that is due now and MRE coming out in a couple of months. So I will be sticking here.

There were a lot of late reported sales showing after hours today. Maybe someone has sold out and looking to drop price to buy back in lower.

Can't help but be suspicious of people that post profusely, disappear and the come back with a message like that. No offence intended.

Going back to the earlier question over value of miner explorers. Solgold is a mining exploration and development company without any actual mines but is now worth £852 million. Granted SML will never be the size of Solgold which has multiple concessions in different areas but the principle is still there and Solgold started from equally humble beginnings.
