RE: Testing.21 Nov 2024 20:13
Hi Bob,
Hope it's ok if i use Bob.
Yeah, i am familiar with the interview, and that section in particular.
For me at least, it provides more questions than answers.
The equipment was available to test, on site and ready to go. It was initially indicated via RNS, that testing would be expanded after the disappointing (inconclusive) result from TGB-6 and MA sands.
Paul has previously signaled that he expects even greater difficulty establishing flow from MOU1, at least in part due to the length of time since the well was drilled. Perhaps he is of the opinion that there is little point trying to establish flow from MOU1 at this stage, given the difficulty encountered at what was supposed to be the "soft target" - MOU3.
Nevertheless, MOU1 was previously guided to take just a couple of weeks or so to comprehensively test.
If no further activity occurs in Morocco prior to drilling MOU5, the SP is put at huge risk imo. We had the equipment there to use. Other targets at MOU3, MOU1, and MOU4 all await testing. This is specifically what the company raised £10 million for, to move away from the boom or bust drilling lottery and associated dilution cycle.
