George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
@HNS_77 I was shocked and saddened you sold :-( I always looked forwarded to reading your analysis of any latest news and I hope you continue to stay around. Such a shame I missed your message about meeting up at the AGM last year before I and Mountainous left the foyer
I guess the difference between this RNS and those previous is Mooky fixing a parachute deal for himself with nothing for the rest of us which was the tipping point for you?
Sadly I'm not in the same position as you. My Cine position wasn't created from wealth it was from salary earnings and ive since been made redundant from that job. I dont forsee being able to earn such money again, im £75k (350k shares) in/down. The majority I bought from selling BT which I'd paid into a sharesave scheme whilst working there for 31 years and the rest from savings and some
from redundancy money; now I'm down to nothing.
I'm down so much it's not worth selling, I am naturally optimistic like you though and hope something may come from RoW - either selling it and we get some of the proceeds in dividends or as you say not selling it and Cine PLC are allowed to continue to trade with it. Or obviously we are saved by an Amazon offer greater than $6bn causing a bidding war
I can hear the laughter from the green boxes but I can't see them anymore anyway
....anyway please stick around I always enjoy your messages :-)
Looks hopeful maidit308 :-)
Thanks patiencebringsit :-)
Great effort thanks patiencebringsit :-)
Sorry to see you go HNS_77 :-(
@HNS_77 I'm almost double North of 15p at 29.395p :-( I've averaged down and down to get here trying to get as low as possible. Another interesting question is how many of us are willing to keep averaging down further if feeling more positive with the news this week? Is it worth it the gamble to average as low as possible?
The only angles Fudge Barbara tackled SriniVaradhanN is opening the corners of the big brown envelopes from Cineplex she "found" in her back pocket
Great thanks sammy18 :-)
Can anyone view this ?

If that's possible Bonkers I want whatever he's drinking lol
Hi iParsnip,
I'm a bit more hopeful since the Elliott news that it may possibly start a bidding war and we may see a rise tomorrow.
I've got my average down to 29p but like you have no money left to average down further. I have a few thousand BT shares left I could swap over but Im guessing have missed the 2p opportunity of last week now?
@Alak Picturehouse aren't a competitor, they are owned by Cineworld
@mountainous I'll go for a box of M&S luxury Belgian Curls biscuits if we reach 10p :-)
Yes Bonkers it does appear lots of us original LTH posters are returning to the board and its getting back to normal, maybe its a good sign the tables are finally turning :-) And maybe time to start mentioning biscuits again lol
Yes sorry you are correct Mountainous it was HNS_77 who witnessed Mooky checking the SP on his phone, my memory is going already! In fact if you had seen it then I would have too as I was sat next to you lol. Also we left for the foyer during the previews
Half asleep I'll read the rest I'm the morning :-)
Hi Bonkers
The AGM I, Mountainous and HNS_77 attended was on 12 May last year when we were at 22p after dropping a few pence since opening that morning.
I remember sitting outside Wandsworth Stn waiting for Mountainous to arrive watching the SP dropping on constant refresh of this very board and asking him on his arrival if he was, as I was, worried about it; perhaps Mooky was about to deliver us some unpleasant news at the AGM?! As it turned out there was No News. Now almost a year later we are at only 2p and my concern has changed to a feeling of almost giving up yet still trying to hang on to hope that doesn't exist.
I wonder if Mooky had already planned before that AGM he would be putting us through C11 a few months later in August? Mountainous (although cut down in his prime by the chair) grilled him with a lot of questions both during the meeting and in person in the foyer afterwards and yet Mooky didn't seem too concerned. Mountainous also observed Mooky checking the share price on his phone a couple of times during the previews, it was obviously a concern for him.
If Mooky does start buying cheap shares at 2p I would be puzzled as to why he waited until now, we've been down here in the pit of 2p-5p doom for ages. Perhaps
yes manipulation is going on we've climbed up to 6 and back down again a couple of times. The mention of shareholders getting nothing over and over in multiple RNSs definitely keeps it down and perhaps for some unknown reason intentionally. Mooky was disappointed in a news article a few months ago we didn't turn into a meme stock but it never will be if that mantra keeps being repeated. The SP would definitely shoot up if he does start buying in bulk at 2p though - come on Mooky get your wallet out :-)
The big question is will we see another AGM in May? No doubt a lot of us have a lot of (angry) questions for Mooky, even more than the 17 Mountainous had prepared for him last year!
Hi Mountainous nice to see you pop in again :-)
I'm hanging around a 4 remaining hopeful while bullish. Extension in C11 until Aug would be good
The RNS warnings are scary but I would like to believe there is a reason for it. Maybe Mooky wants to keep them low for the reasons Harry White explained in his last 2 live streams and doesn't want people buying huge chunks of shares for next to nothing. Although he did say in a magazine article (or maybe it was Israel can't remember?!) he was disappointed we didn't turn into a meme stock like AMC which doesnt align with the RNS wipeout threats as if you were hoping for a rocket to take off why put off new investors?
I'm so deep in it's not worth selling, I've averaged down to 29.395p holding 250,186 shares. Question is do I keep averaging down while they hover around 2p in hope we may get a buyout offer of 10-20p just to get my investment back, or do I fear the RNS red triangles.
I start a new job tomorrow BTW, I've been out of work for 2 years since BT redundancy :-)
Hope everything is OK with you
@HNS_77 I think that was the fault of the hype around the Mooky £1.91sp multi million bonus that some of us were buying upto £1.24 before everything went tits up :-(
Hi SriniVaradhanN hope you are OK too. I wrote about the RNS in reply to Mountainous a couple of days ago if you scroll back a few pages?
