Maybe its 8Km, even cheaper. I thought it was mentioned they wanted to stock pile about 600K tonnes. About 30,000 truck loads!! You would need to deliver 60K tonnes a month to start with, this could then be reduced. 3000 tonnes/day, 5 day week. 150 truck loads, would 10 trucks achieve this or would we need 15? BB

Someone mentioned trucking costs of �350k/�400k, but that was over 60km I believe. Apparently it's only about 15km, so that would probably put the costs nearer �150K. As you say MH, Hernic should be providing some excess cash by then. 10 months at �150K to put 600K tonnes at site. The �1.5m outlay should be repaid over the first few months. That leaves about 650k tonnes still to transport ( 21 months supply), by then their may be another dump we gain access too. BB

I expect there maybe a few other blue-chip companies now looking at similar deals, JLP are starting to show what they can do with tailings dumps. Little acorns and all that. I have sold out of companies before major re-rates or steady upward progression, thinking I had done well, only to regret it. Those selling now and in the near future may look back with the same regrets. This won't happen overnight, but I feel very content to leave my shares in the bottom draw for a couple of years and pay the mortgage off & maybe more! BB

In February 2017, Northam announced an agreement concluded with Glencore Operations South Africa Proprietary Limited (Glencore Operations) to acquire Eland Platinum. Eland is located on the south-eastern limit of the western limb of the Bushveld Complex. The acquisition includes two mining rights with a resource estimated at 21.3Moz 4E and a fully-developed, world-class surface infrastructure. This acquisition is subject to consent being granted by the Minister of Mineral Resources in terms of section 11 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 28 of 2002 (MPRDA). To clarify: We need to produce lead and Zinc by year end. 1kg of lead and a 2kg of zinc will meet the conditions as stated, but they are not our targets. We may struggle to achieve targets. However, if they have learnt any lessons from the previous operations, I would hope it is - Under promise & Over deliver. BB

Throughput of the Kabwe plant is not a condition of the license. The conditions that need to be met are what JLP have already achieved elsewhere, so proven track record of delivery on that front stands. From RNS: Conditions include that plant construction commence within 3 months of the reinstatement of the licence with commissioning commencing by 30 September 2018 and the first production due by 30 December 2018. Everything has an element of risk but if they have signed up to it, I guess they are confident. BB

All the smart money,seems to be moving out platinum and into those minerals I posted area. I think you've answered your own doubt Jubilee Platinum are now Jubilee Metals, also from RNS 23/10/17. Jubilee Platinum has formed a joint venture with BMR Group to recover zinc, lead and vanadium at the Kabwe project in Zambia. & from the CEO statement. "I am delighted to announce that we have successfully secured access to this exciting surface project that extends our reach beyond the South African bushveld complex and into other commodities. This transaction is in line with our mission to take our brand and expertise across country borders and commodities. This project is meaningful in scope, diversity and potential contribution to the Company's earnings. The Kabwe project offers immediate unencumbered access to a large surface stock rich in lead, zinc and vanadium created from historical mining and processing activities. The project benefits from existing infrastructure including power, water and building infrastructure, which significantly reduces the required project capital and shortens the implementation time line. This will cause PGM production to fall as companies fail or shutdown. Only the low cost producers will be profitable, however at a reduced level. PGM prices will have to rise to rebalance the market. I also believe Fuel Cell technology will be the go to option for some car manufacturer. Partly due to the wind turbine industry and using the energy generated off-peak when the grid has no demand (night time). Hydrogen can be generated from the wind power generation you can't turn off. Finally JLP are diversifying from PGM's & also SA, this seems to be a sustainable business plan on paper, time will tell. BB

Happy for all parties - Lets work together! JLP will benefit from BMR rerate. Our stake will be diluted from 29% to approx 25% with the issue of new shares and warrants, however BMR mcap should rise considerably over the next 12-24 months. Would 10p or 20p be achievable �40m - �80m mcap and JLP holding 25% of that. What if JLP have the option to maintain their 29.01% stake in this placing? That could give JLP �10m -�24m on the balance sheet. BB

Exactly my thoughts Paddwah26. If they sell JLP shares they will have less assets and the SP will further reduce as the cash is used up. Death Spiral scenario may not be far off. BB

MH I think it is too early to buy out BMR also, we will receive all profits from Kabwe until our costs are recovered. This means BMR will see no income from Kabwe for quite sometime. This may put further pressure on there SP which could allow a buy out further down the line, or may be we could lend money to BMR with Equity conditions attached! BB
