sbroms. I think CHAR have the funding now but deep water drilling is a different ball game and a lot more expensive. Of course, another fund raise for PRD is likely to be needed to prove up the acreage on a discovery.

Not sure where you manage to fit Belmarsh into this but it makes your attitude sound even more condescending. I don't think anyone is actually counting the days until spud. If you don't like people posting about the Morocco drill, just say so. Or is posting just for 'club' member only? Barring the unforeseen, at least we know the drill is going ahead and not just speculative ramping.

The company haven't put out new info on anywhere else yet, they may soon but until then most of it is heresay whereas drilling MOU-1 drilling is fact. GLA invested here

In other words we could be drilling in a month's time. MOU-1 is the first well and if all goes to plan we will have the rig back later this year.

As previously guided, results from MOU-1 may potentially de-risk up to 1,823 BCF of prospective High Estimate gross recoverable gas resources in the Tertiary and in the MOU-4 Prospect to provide the basis for a further drilling programme, including appraisal and exploration wells, when the Star Valley rig becomes available again later in 2021.'

It may be of no interest to some but there is a drill coming up in Morocco and apparently this is definite for this year, not 2023 or 2028 or 2030. And the prize is huge they pull it off. Has anyone checked the figures?

Thanks for the link Chislehurst. The RNS missed an important part:
'However, on May 18 the Irish government approved a policy statement that includes a moratorium on the development of all LNG import terminals pending the completion of a review of the country’s supply security.
The review is expected to be completed by the end of 2021...'
May as well put Ireland on ice for the next few months and concentrate on Trinidad and Morocco. Paul does seem very positive about Morocco.

Thanks Stiffy. I wasn't ramping or suggesting anyone sell here, as may have been suggested but I am here because someone on a different board said, 'take a look at PRD'. I did, and after going through mounds of info managed to buy around 3p with a couple of top ups. Yes, the long haul for me as well and I see Malcy reckons a 10 bagger from just over 3p so similar rise as here over the next year.

For those looking for a home for any locked in profits now or at spud it could be worth doing some research on Zephyr Energy, ticker ZPHR. It used to be Rose Petroleum and is on Malcy's higher Beta list. This is not a plug for another company but it's always good to see what else is out there rather than wear blinkers and pretend PRD is the only company doing anything.

Can we stick to what Paul has written here this time regarding one word, JUNE, in the context of drilling operations to start in June. Last time some people thought it would be July or August when he said June. It is easier and less confusing if we stick to the official news as per the RNS. Cracking stuff in Trinidad with updates to come.

I think Paul has his watering can out in Morocco at the moment. It is the 19th May and drilling starts in 5 weeks or 6 at the most. I am sure he is 100% focused on the upcoming drill and making certain we are set up for more drills once the rig has been used by SDX for the second time after we pass it back to them. Everything else is just conjecture, hope and wishful thinking. A good result in Morocco will send the sp into orbit.
