This is environment assessment, not Federal permitting. It reads, 'Rose Petroleum LLC has Submitted two APDs for two new oil wells on SITLA...'
The application date is 24th August 2022!
What about the other wells they had planned to drill this year? Have they been shelved or is this just another area that need some clarity.

Agreed V111AS. Similar to those who suggest some people should not be investing or tell people to sell up because they have a differing opinion.
I think ZPHR had such a good start going up a huge amount, 700% or thereabouts, that they forgot the froth would subside and now that the sp has fallen over the last year it's natural there are both positive as well as negative comments. All welcome! I have made my choice to stick with this one and just hope I have made the right decision regardless of any of our viewpoints because no one knows yet.

If they don't have a permit and rig for the three well programme by now it is very doubtful it will be anywhere near completed by the end of this year. And where does that leave the 10 wells earmarked for next year?

Vegans don't eat steaks so rather an inept analogy and vegetarians should be admired for their lack of a desire to kill other creatures and/or their wish to limit the damage done to the planet by carnivores. For instance, parts of the Amazon is being decimated in order to grow soya bean to feed cattle which in turn produce methane, a gas linked to global warming. We need to be mindful of the future generations to come and not dwell on our rigid thinking from the past. Livestock take up 80% of the world's agricultural land yet produce only 20% of the food. If everyone was vegetarian there would be more than enough food to go round.

I agree with THE_CHAIN. I think if permission has been given for 36-2 they are duty bound to announce the fact and get things moving . They did actually state they would announce any permit approvals earlier this year.

tom111. SOUC have a mkt cap of $99m with only 135.91m shares in issue whereas ZPHR have a mkt cap of $69m but have 1,560.75m shares in issue. SOUC made a profit of 10m while ZEPH under 1m profit. I see director buying at SOUC - 125,000 common shares at a price of CAD0.858 per share. No director buying at ZPHR since they bought in very cheaply. There are some knowledgeable posters on their board and I need to do a lot more research but it certainly looks good, LNG is becoming more and more important.

Thanks THE_CHAIN. But why can't they just say that? I am sure all will end up fine and I have actually added over the past months and recent weeks but I just want some clear facts from the company. For instance: will three wells be drilled this year CH like you said, yes or no?

Yes, it's just disappointing they give us a timeline and the expectancy of something happening but nothing does. They mentioned somewhere there would be three drills this year and 10 drills next year!!! It makes me dismiss a lot of what they say as hot air.
However, it appears something happen at State 16-2 LN-CC! But have the other two been shelved?

They also need to read their own RNSs to clarify anything like this:
'The new acreage is close to pre-existing surface infrastructure in the form of a six-inch gas pipeline which traverses the leasehold.'
Is the pipeline 'close' by or does it actually traverse the leasehold? I have no idea as it appears to be both!

Nothing new in the Auctus interview, can't see the point in it and I thought it was an excerpt from 'Allo Allo' at first . What we need is a production start and this is week 12 of, 'we hope to have production from the State 16-2LN-CC well in as little as eight to 12 weeks'.
Perhaps more than hope is needed!

Hopefulpatience. Totally agree. Bedrock must have a pretty idea what is likely to happen if they are prepared to take shares instead of cash. Looks as though a few others agree this was an positive endorsement as as the sp is up 10% at the moment.

The federal permit could come any time soon, next week even for the first well: 'The State 36-2 LNW-CC well, with a 10,000-foot lateral well targeting the Cane Creek reservoir, has been designated as the first of the three wells planned to be drilled.'
10k feet is 1.89 miles so there is huge potential for just this one drill. Two more to follow.

It seems to me that any delay has only caused by this and perhaps the company did not factor this in when they stated the 8 - 12 weeks. I always $2m was a lot for a shed to house computers with a few pipes and valves as well.

But, I do wish the company would stop congratulating themselves or going on about the hard work they are doing as it is cringe-worthy advertising (and words such thrilled and over use of 'excited' should be banned from now on). And the other thing, they could try and simplify each RNS so they are clear, concise and to the point. For instance, why not tell us what they will do with the gas as this not some sort of guessing game:

There are many different ways to read a Zephyr RNS but unless they start living in the now ie: we have permissions in place, we have a rig and spud date etc, the sp will crumple as it always does with their news for the future. I just hope CH doesn't go and do another interview to tank the sp even further. We are still in week eleven of twelve though so still some hope.

Ok thanks for that, so backtracked on the 3 wells for this year and the 8 - 12 weeks is now meaningless. I suppose we now have to take a lot of what they say with a pinch of salt.
