Bad weather should not make too much difference unless it stops work. We were told news in early January so tomorrow we will hear something or it will look as though there is a problem and we all know what that will mean.

Depending on other factors we may not know, TD could be this week.

Some of you guys should be on the BBC, they have programmes for constant moaners, victims and people who always blame others for their misfortunes. We have become nasty Britain full of unforgiving. Our past actions reflect our current situation so come on let's make a resolution for 2023 that at least we will not insult others - this is the Zephyr thread. Use the filter. Thanks and let's hope the eagerly awaited RNS will put all this well behind us.

Now, why would they tweet that unless things were going to plan?

Something is happening! This often occurs the day prior to a positive RNS.

Up 1p at the moment to make for last week's drop of 1p. To be honest I am surprised it is not a lot higher as this drill is a very quick one.

I can see where there is confusion. It's easy to relate to barrels of oil but amounts of gas are not so easy to imagine. MOU-1 appears to have been a discovery but just about everyone considered it a failure. Was this solely because the RNS was not explained properly? The sp dropped dramatically.
Will we get a repeat from PG this time around? Or will we get an RNS that says in simple terms that it is a 'discovery' and likely to be commercial if that is the gas?

Selling on this sort of news often leads to a large loss and there is no use in writing negative posts. I believe they will find another rig and they will drill but if you don't believe that then it's best to pull out and count the losses. I am at at break even and just frustrated that things have not gone to plan but that's normal in AIM.

And too many here are ready to gloat at others' misfortunes. Being nasty is easy in this country these days. Come on, we can do better than that. And this the PRD board, not PANR.

TT-T I agree! What else could he have said due to the holidays or should he have waited until next Tuesday to tell us the well has been spudded? Mid January should reach TD if all goes well, maybe a bit before, maybe a bit after. Then wire logging.

Great start to the day, I expect this to go much higher in anticipation of a good result. Drilling will only take a couple of weeks so there may be a rush to take positions here.

If you order something online at the moment it's difficult to give a delivery date with all the problems over here and with so many things to come together for a drill it must be a nightmare! Last time I remember they did a video of the rig being moved to the site and there was a huge amount of trucks.
It will happen soon enough and then a short drilling time.

When they have a firm spud date we will get an RNS according to the RNS 13th December:

'Pre-drilling procurement and delivery is now almost complete. Upon the conclusion of this process a firm spud date will be announced. '

Madmanrob1. If you had been on this board for longer you would know I was not a troll. However, I do not ramp up shares just because I hold them. If you had been here then you would have seen mad rampers saying this was going to £2 in short order! I don't trash any share either but I do call it as I see it.
I hold these for the Morocco drill, all else is immaterial at the moment. That could be a company maker if successful.

I agree Charlotte and by the up ticks you have, so do a lot of others here. Morocco is where we are going to make money. T&T appears to be the CEO determined to prove a point regardless of anything else, miffed at being told to clear off with his trailer load of equipment. It will incur more expenses I have no doubt if he wants to produce any oil. Perhaps long term it may make something but there is a reason it has been all but abandoned and Challenger must be laughing at us! Let's hope PG can keep his eye on Morocco for the near future.
There is no point in pinning anything on Ireland either, it's just another 'if', 'could', 'maybe'.
I remember the MOU-1 RNS and sold up immediately at 18p. It was so cryptically written no one knew if it was a discovery or a duster. Thank goodness I did get out as the uncertainty of that RNS felled the sp although it did take a while to reach rock bottom. In my opinion, although others may disagree, the MOU-1 result was far less than expectations. I hope the new drill will be more positive and if so, better written up.
