dont get me wrong Hav is massive....but isnt initial production 3Mtpa into a 20Mtpa facility?
sorry 16Mtpa?
any thoughts ?
I'm starting to worry about 3Mpta into a 20Mpta plant...that being Havieron into Telfer and with Telfer running out of ore in 2024 Havieron will be the sole supply, repeat at 20m plant will be getting 3m (ok higher grade)
If you were Newcrest would you buy the next 5% of Greatland at market rates or buy antipa or artemis on the boundary at cheaper and increase supply of ore at grades at shallower depths (azy)?
and that may also include false reporting of nickel deposits
"until an order is completed in full (as in I want to buy 2.5 billion) no declaration has to be made to the exchange until that order has been completed in full"
What a load of rubbish Maxwell, that would just make a mockery of reporting substantial positions as holders could just hide behind orders
a reference to Hydro implies a shared shorting belief of some sort
laddering is insignificant....as is a misheld shorting belief that starbright has well ruled out
its ironic that this shorting fear may have been detrimental to the share price performance
here we go again...a 'chunky sell' can be no other than a shorter...
you mean.....Base case assumptions include a gold price of US$1,500/oz
you are dreaming to suggest an ASX listed company would manipulate the share price down to launch a takeover...it just wont happen.
The sell side is still coming from multibaggers and anybody who has bought in the last 6 months and needs to cut losses. Any potential buyer looking at the last RNS's and then the share price performance would also surely be doubting whether it was safe to get in...and this is why we have a sell side bias...
Inflation is currency related????...so what is tradeable and non tradeable inflation?
only 50% roughly is currency related....most manageable inflation is domestic which is what reserve banks target with a small target off managing tradeable via ccy assumptions
"weak holders" are also big profit takers...ongoing issue with this share
agreed that Growth Update is class with clear direction and strategy
Also with a great pic for those who fail to understand the size relativity of the pfs...see page 7
no was always highlighted by GGP that this would always be looking at just a small part of the mine including in a recent SD interview...but does look like a few posters got themselves in an excited frenzy going into this...
Thanks Hydrogen, what is a fair discount rate to net present value that at?
unfortunately this is affecting markets globally and the dip might not be specific to GGP ...Evergrande potential default in China

Interested in any thoughts on what a fair discount rate to NPV this would be?
I don't know myself so not looking to bite anyone's head off...
yeah you almost wonder if Artemis Resources have been waiting for NCM/GGP to do their work for them!! Slow movers compared to Newcrest and maybe what Bamps is alluding to, they have had some poor recent history so yep would be good if NCM could get involved there.
Hi Strudel, think you have your asx companies mixed up, Antipa Minerals (AZY) own Minyari and Artemis (ARV) got their approvals last week to drill at Apollo and Atlas just on the Newcrest/GGP boundary.
The AZY graph was to demonstrate they are getting gold in the the top 400m even though they believe their Minyari target has other similarities to HAV. Likely results out this week for DD at depths.
