The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Yeah, I sold at a small profit and back in with 50% of my previous stake, the other 50% into my all time favourite SLE ;-)
Hi Searcher, I notice you're still in HOIL, have you stayed with this or traded? I exited at annual results and came back in on the trading update, looking better now so fingers crossed ;-)
Thanks for sharing the link, I just had a look. It seemed a bit mixed however the one thing that came out was the relatively short period of the trial and how some patients wished they'd been on longer. Hopefully positive results will be taken from this into stage III along with a partner, anyone one any views on partnering at this stage?
When I last calculated it was 86%. I took the figs from Morning Star. Of that Invesco Perpetual UK holds 56% and Henderson 12%.
Sounds a bit to close to the start of I am Legend to me......think I'll give it a miss.
Not sure, I checked back to the most recent RNS prior to todays which announced Henderson's increase in holding, the only thing I spotted was that the issued share capital in today's RNS is 346,901,749 which is just over a 100K increase compared to the last RNS, I presume this could have been triggered by director shemes etc and maybe this is just announcing the increase to the market. I've emailed the company to clarify.
There's quite a bit out there on his return to acting. I found this article online from the Daily Mail. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2199374/Michael-J-Fox-takes-time-walk-dog-prepares-TV-comeback-sitcom-Parkinsons-disease.html It states in one para; However he revealed in May that a new drug regimen has helped him control the tics that are a result of the disease and allowed him to take on more acting roles Who knows whether he's even taking cogane and whether that has made the difference.
brynsplat, are those the LSE generated RNS? I asked the same question on ADVFN and was told they are 'traffic calming' measures......when a share increases rapidly from one trade to another .
I've decided to stand up to Biff Tannen and have today doubled my holding :-)
.........Biff Tannen would probably take our shares off us.........
I agree............I wonder what the chances are of him lending us the Deloren, we could then go back to the future and see if this share price is still hanging around 6p in ten years time, armed with that information....whatever it might be, we could then decide whether to buy, sell or hold....what do you think? It's probably just in his garage gathering dust, ain't no skin off his nose if we took it for a spin.
Funny you should say that I've held the share for just over 12 months - not seen a northgate logo on anything, until the last couple of weeks now i'm seeing them all the time, can only be good.
