We can but hope that the fat twunt's arrogance will see him in chokey.
Much to pursue here.
Si,
19.17 - back at you!
They need to get their fingers out and finish restoring the second boat, then JW can double his "consultancy" fees.
Simples.
We're going to get shafted, aren't we?
Maybe the plan is to convert it into a regasification vessel?
Blimey, those comments make me look charitable!
It really is time the happy-clappers acknowledged what has been going on here since JW's appointment. I too am bound, in the increasingly forlorn hope that shareholders might see some value out of Islandmagee, albeit nowhere near enough to see any long-term holder made whole. The fact that the project is hocked to Riverstone makes the position unclear, at least to me.
Who needs a bonus when you can scam "consultancy" fees out of the company you manage?
Blimey, I'll have to start a second volume of BP's Big Book Of BS. So much material!
Market reaction certainly agrees.
A 60m regasification vessel? What a beauty that would be!
stokey12,
Have you been out in the sun too long again?
In a similar vein, I wonder how many were recruited via the series of roadshows, held in cities hundreds of miles from any of H&W's hallowed yards.
Iamsailing,
Nailed it all.
Speedy_Gonzalez,
I would agree, on this occasion, that the share price was worked yesterday, although I do not believe that there is any greater conspiracy at work. On past form, the walking up of the share price will be an attempt to get away another raise. Below 10p would be an even bigger disaster than this company has already become; if they can work up the share price to 14 or 15p, then the raise will come at 10p or thereabouts. Why anyone would buy into it is another matter entirely.
Lottie123,
In order to top-slice one's holding, one first needs to be in profit. Sadly, not one holder is in this position. Remind us again of your financial bona fides...?
And if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a bicycle.
Gosh, will this 3 year plan set out a series of "milestones"?
Now THAT'S a shipyard.
I am on my phone, so the RNS doesn't render well, but isn't this a 0.01% reduction in the percentage of total shares held by Killick? I make that worth a couple of hundred quid - the RNS would have cost more than that to put out!
What would be the point of that? Having them in their own names would boost confidence in the stock.
