RE: Proposals to get global travel moving again for the July rush.27 Mar 2021 13:03
I'll tell you how I see this... In as simplest of terms as possible! Yes the share price is where it is because of the current climate in regards to air travel.. So what? Do you honestly believe these aircraft will be sitting on the tarmac for the next 6 months?? The economic disaster evolving from this especially in the 'tourism' sector would be devastating.
There will be a work-a-round in which ever form it's manifested, so I just keep buying on the dips and can afford to wait. For those that can't afford to sit out however long it takes, well that's a shame, but everyone has their reasons. The recent drop to early 180's was a godsend for me and I loaded up!
When the SP was in the 90's I was thinking, "Wow, this will take forever to get back into even half from fallen heights"....BUT no! That was in only October and time has flown by tbh...and we hit 220's highs ... So I know where we'll be whenever flights are resumed... IAG will do well, come now... or later!.. All airlines are in relatively the same boat and IAG BoD are doing what needs to be done to keep ahead of the curve.
So i'll keep topping up while they're low and look away for now.
