Yep happy with budget..expect a few would've pulled out in or after budget. Not worried as I said beginning of the week..I expect us to be 110 by Friday..anything above is a bonus. I'll wait for doors opening and not worried about increased taxes till 2023 April!

EVERYONE has been there Amse... and anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar. Patience and research are key qualities when investing. Re-assured this won't be your first mistake mate, and you'll get wiser as you move on. Online shopping is still a member of retail mate, albeit with a toes in I.T sector, but I get what you're saying. BUT saying that, there'll be a MASSIVE initial climb in outdoor retail when the lockdown lifts, IMPO..Cinemas, Restaurants, shopping, ...and so on.

The freedom that so many took for granted pre-covid will be appreciated in abundance, especially in Summer. Naturally Winter would've had less of an impact, but Summer and outdoor activities go hand in hand!

Also not forgetting the travel/tourism sector, which will also benefit... but more during, or as we approach Autumn IMPO, as people look for a way to have hols booked in warmer climates!

The retail sector right now..at this present time, is where the economical boom is, without a doubt.. and tbh was always going to be, as we edge out of lockdown! ...And now with the furlough extended till the end of September, it will compound its growth!

Nope, in the long run this will be very north if all goes well. I picked up a few more in the 14's. For me it's a no brainer.

Relax and put your feet up.. there's no point in worrying about daily fluctuations. This will do well in the longer run.

All the above pushes the sentiment up as we edge out of lockdown. Expecting the SP to move around to between 105-110p this week as investors start taking positions now we have lockdown exit timelines.

Moog, I don't think in general people are against paying a fair tax, (the word 'Fair' is up for debate), the problem is how that money is used by the Govt. which dissuades a lot of people and also how the mega rich use loopholes to evade paying a fair tax... I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible without bringing in topics such as illegal wars, brexit and Ministerial pay blah blah.
