The facts in this scenario are pretty simple tbh,
(A) The first and most simplest solution is that Putins conflict is coming to an end and he's achieved what he set out to do, which IMPO, was to ascertain a large eastern sector of Ukraine into his military control, i/e Mariupol/Lahenshk/Donbass regions... He now winds downs a military assault on any other part of Ukraine, and maintains a large military presence in those regions.. but basically no-one else getting killed.
(B) The conflict ensues and people are still getting killed, Zelensky carries on begging the world for support. Escalation continues and the 'So-called' aid that the western allies promised finally arrives. This scenario would mean the conflict will go on for a while in terms of gorilla style warfare.
This would mean that GPB workaround has to be overcome, and tbh, right now we lack clarity on this issue.
Is POG being sold to UMMC?
Is POG looking to stay alive by using UMMC to pay the debt to GPB through some Gold agreement?
Are we just juggling balls in the air until the conflict wraps up?
Is POG looking to acquire a new licence to sell the Gold outside of Russia?
Will Putin just take the assets? (I doubt very much, this would be escalation and separation from the rest of the World)
Right now there's more questions than answers.. hopefully they're working in the background to arrive at a solution that benefits the company and shareholders for the better! If so, they'll issue an RNS to clear up all these questions.
Personally... I think (A) is the answer i'm leaning towards.. but wtfdik.. except that all this death and population displacement could've been avoided by Zelensky, of that, I am in no doubt!
Right now I just watched the BBC 12'O'Clock News and Zelensky is now telling the World that Putin will be targeting other eastern block nations after Ukraine.
Seems as if as soon as there is a slow down of the conflict, Zelensky comes out with a new line, but that's probably Biden wiggling the fingers on his hand that he has so far up Zelensky's backside... whilst taking a break from Boris Johnsons backside lol...
Maybe a further question is, who has their hand up the Geriatric Biden backside?.. because it's evident the old fool is just not capable of running his own country, let alone trying to manage World affairs!
I think those are the simple facts...without making the POG issue too complicated... RNS this week? Good or bad, I welcome the clarity! Good luck to all!
