GeordieShore, with respect, you don't know what you're talking about. As i've said before.. it's about the OFFER ffs.. the deal is done afterwards, (not sure how many times it has to be said ffs)
When a company is made an offer, the first will be probably lower than reasonable value because 'God loves a try'er', even in business deals... regardless that offer has to be officially RNS'd... whether the board decides to reject it OR put it to a shareholder vote. THAT first announcement will ROCKET the share price... or are you saying it won't???
You're saying that the price will only increase when the deal is done...no it won't....and if you don't know that.. you have'nt been in the world of shares very long... and if you embarrassingly have, then you've picked up jack on your journey!
Comparing it to houses is completely pointless and mis-leading... Houses are bought on a market value approx and properly valued by a valuer prior to sale which is 5-10% + or - of original value... I/e u know the rough estimate of your house and the neighbours because they're, (in most cases), the same roughly.
IF you did want to compare, then a fair valuation would be with recent sales which have been done in the billions of other Palladium assets.. Look'em up, and Dimitri has hinted to use RECENT sales as a BENCHMARK....how have you interpreted that into something other than what he's said eludes me.
