According to Reuters, the value of BP’s assets which are up for sale is unlikely to exceed $80 million following the oil price crash last year.
Given that TD did a deal initially at 620m then reduced to 210m, this sounds like the original eal was overpriced and it could now be v attractive comparatively speaking. Something to think about.

My belief is that most of the issued shares are locked in so new owners cant sell during the prohibited period to avoid this very problem. So, I m with Stevo, shortage to start with abw.

Sk that would have been welcome but I dont think disclosure rules allow that as this would have been a promise which cant be guaranteed. Capt Cook was at pains to stress during the tele conference they were not able to give forward guidance. Thus , they have been very conservative in thier information . Better to under promise and over deliver ....... bit like your hero - Boris !

Price of oil is irrelevant to PMO, as its is the finance business, as can be noted by the removal of the word "Oil " from its name when the takeover takes place

EC, as has been noted this am, PMO are not in the oil business. They are in the business of selling finance deals and assuaging creditors so all their time is on manging this, not on oily things

Although they could invite Trump onto the board to "Make PMO Great Again !" He will be available soon and his record speaks for himself !

In my experience, NED's make no real difference, they are not very effective in shaping the company's future or manging risk, as can be seen with PMO, Carillion, Rolls Royce etc etc. Its the CEO and Exec Directors that are important. So our money is on Capt Cook et all, not Neds.

Agreed, they are involved in complicated deals for creditors. Oil is just a side line. Core business is financial transactions
