Can anyone explain the sense of creditors rushing to sell unwanted shares before the price goes up. I appreciate they are not in the business of stock picking, but crikey, nor are they in the business of choosing to lose out on good profit. Barmy, if you ask me. I'd wait a wee while and trickle the shares back into the market at a price north of way they are now, much norther, in fact North Pole !

Hundreds of millions of shares , if not billions are being snapped up by eager buyers. Shows confidence about the future direction of the sp once all this re-posioning has taken place and we have some stability in our share ownership. This is going to be a hot hot summer !

To be fair to NF linda cook was referring to the general problem to quote " 18bn is a lot of shares and the bod would be looking at that in due course" I dont think their calculators have enough characters to compute the eps, so they need to reduce the integers. Simple stuff really. Just need bigger calculators!

Whether its 24m or 18m traded, it's still diddly squat compared to 18.5 bn in issue. At this rate of trading, we will all be dead by the time the 3bn creditor over hang is cleared. Must remember to update my will !
