One of the best pieces of news we could ask for. I expected them to reimburse the new standard 2 gene test but them approving the Winterplex test for reimbursement is on another level. The winterplex test is 4x as expensive as the standard test! f you had the choice of testing for just Covid19 or Covid19 + RSV +Influenza A&B and get the money reimbursed either way its a no brainer!!

How many times only a diagnosis can be given by a clinician. Taking swabs and running the test etc can be done by anyone with the suitable skills. Results can be sent to a clinician by email etc to review and provide a diagnosis. Same with a home pregnancy test this gives a result but you are not diagnosed being pregnant until its confirmed by a clinician
