Timelines are what they are but this is now primed to move up.... gold steady and with bullish H2 in prospect and a nice profitable open pit in the offing.

the placing was very naughty given all that had been said..... but my reading is that the right JV deal on Cres was not being offered... so CB has to do more work there. I do think a new rig and more drilling there are on the cards and would explain more cash.

3.75p warrants make for a new 5p target

If the results at HR3 are good and I suspect they will be then the SP will be back above 3p in short order. This then poses the question of why the placing was done as it was and that does not have a nice answer for me ...

BUT as ever, for the long term investor, which we are all supposed to be, I think it matters not very much and a future multi multi bagger still awaits the patient.

Inevitable placing churn to be dealt with. New licence news will obviously be a big deal. Topping up here looks like one of the 'no brainers' of the year. GLA

You'll get the picture. Expect Eclipse to be producing GOLD in a MUCH higher price environment. $1740 / oz is the base from which Gold will punch back through $2000 and potentially much higher.

From 17th March RNS:

The reverse circulation ("RC") drilling component of the next phase of work at Eclipse is expected to commence next week followed by the diamond drilling in early April. The latter will generate sample for further studies, including geotechnical logging and metallurgical testing. Everything outlined in this phase of work, including the RC drilling, resource modelling and pit optimisations, diamond drilling and metallurgical testwork, is fully funded.

Mike Struthers, Director of Empire Metals, said: "We are very pleased to be able to start to execute this next phase of fully funded work at Eclipse within the next few days. As noted in our recent press release, we believe this phase will allow the Company to map out the path to an initial open pit operation, along with improved definition of possible extensions to resources and the scope for additional future open pits and we look forwards to providing more information on progress in due course."

So RC could be well advanced and Diamond drilling will be about to commence.

Unlike EEE this is a job for GH.... big prospects in IOCG's plus all other targets... MAIN MARKET....would not be too surprised.... GH would like lots of options....

And actually in interviews around the turn of the year he mention end Q1 or early in Q2. I remember. You will know that with mining things often run over. I suggest the extension drilling has provided more ore to factor into said JORC and the mini gold-rush taking place in Aus might just have held things up a tad... along with you know what.

However, unless you are VERY impatient I would think progress has been pretty good on all things Eclipse.

kongo...busy today so i will not tire you with another long reply and I am happy to accept you have been here a long time. However, you appear to have only returned from a long absence to pour lots of cold water on the NEW EEE project. this tells anyone interested a lot about your possible motivations.

I agree that MS and NoB moving to Candelaria does smack of 'walking away' but the fact that Candelaria are now dealing with the Georgian issues and that the board of EEE have paid themselves with EEE options at 4p and 5.5p shows the opposite of 'walking away'.

The MCap of EEE is tiny. The investment needed for a project like Eclipse is small. The price of Gold is very high. Eclipse is in the best location possible and even the vendors too part payment with 4.7p warrants... so yes, I'm sure you ARE invested. Who wouldn't be.
