Remember D14 predicted a placing because HNR were going to run out of money....simply that. NOT because they were going to buy a whole new business. A dynamic and it looks like an extremely profitable one with repeatable and expandable profit generating potential that they already have a unique boosting ingredient for on tap.

However the modest nature of the director buys last summer at .43 and .37 did allude to things not being ready to rock in a short time line. But things have moved on and the recent placing was to get a drill away. A high chance of success drill. So with two wells producing in Romania and Italy in production next spring the SP will not be .18.

At least I do not believe it will, whatever happens in Spain.

The historic drills at Tesorillo show that there is gas in the strata. They just need to target it with care as they do not have cash to play with. For this reason I do not think they will rush Spain.

But gas there is and probably lots of it. Close to a pipeline too. Very important.

Spiceygoat, I do agree and sympathise. I have followed the story. My point is that from here the positive aspects far outweigh the negative. It was very bad to bang on about ‘fully funded’ etc. I think they will have to JV Spain. But Romania looks safe and Italy flows. Just have to wait. Rewards from here look significant. ATB BH

As the dust settles on recent events two things spring to mind. A completely new investor set will now be looking at HNR. Compelling buy at these levels. Then grumpy LTHs (inc me but seldom grumpy) will get over their annoyance and accept the new business landscape, which has enormous potential.

TW75 won crap post of the day yesterday. Well done TW. Maybe you should get 88e to try growing hemp in Alaska. I believe HNR have more oil rev than 88.

Whilst you all enjoyed yourselves with the usual chats yesterday I went fishing for the 4th time this year. Nice.

On my first trip I have historically had bumper hauls but this year only caught 13 trout... the SP was 13 at the time. Armed with new info I went back to the same water expecting 20+ but only managed 11 and wierdly the SP declined to pretty much the same number. i was not a happy Hopper!! Grrr

Last week I bravely/foolishly cast a line in the howling wind and was pleased to manage 9 ....... can you see a certain relationship building???? However 9 was great in the conditions and the day felt good. caught a fish estimated by the warden at 12lb. My biggest on a fly.

So how many do you think I managed yesterday in more benevolent conditions and looking forward to the future...? hmmm The future looks bright to me ;-)

Hi Nuba, thanks for your post. It is really the only one here I would care to engage with having been off the board for a couple of hours ( although, Hi Barn, you keep jabbing the sods ;-) ). Can I just gently suggest that the numbers do indeed look compelling and that if you can 'average down' that might be a good thing to do. I have held a long time and have been partially out and then back in again. I am now fully 'in' with 590,000 shares and I intend to remain very in. We have the resource (N2/H2) and it looks like we are going to use it! Good luck to you. The future is bright indeed. BH

BBaggins.... hold on to the shares and you will NOT be ruined. Read the RNS properly. Sounds like a good plan and implies the gas has Organis status. 8.5p. Yep annoying. Profit by year end... great. New revenue stream and still plenty of gas to sell to District 8 (different crop) and others. Expect more RNSs.... note more acres in Kansas and I expect another drill too.

It IS going to be an interesting year for HNR in 2019. Dividends anyone ;-)

Happypennies, risqué is right but I support you view in two ways. HNR is my main investment and though I have had a tough couple of years I feel the next couple have amazing potential. Nobody can be sure but the founder ceo has 10% so you can be certain he wants a good outcome.

The multiple projects show reall game changing potential and this start point is a multi year low.

I assume you have read all the RNS’s. definitely do so. I basically think you are going ugh the!! I’m in! Goood luck.

of the forecasts for oil price in 2019 had WTI averaging between $60-65 through the year. As it nestles at $58.36 just now it would be unsurprising to see it break $60 in the coming weeks, providing a better cash stream for HNR now and a greater incentive for True to set up the next phase of HNR's 24 well 7.5% deal at no cost to us.

Meanwhile the cannabis will be being dried and weighed and tested. 5000 plants next instead of 50? Or a much bigger deal. New customers even. New drills in Kansas.... take your pick but Robert Price is in London the week after next for two separate investor events and he is unlikely to come empty handed. So Monday might bring an RNS, but it WILL bring a great buying opportunity!
