plus the 1,443 kilometer pipeline will be the longest heated pipeline in the world. So more gas needed for power generation then, no doubt that was a factor in persuading Uganda to take the Tanzania route.

i said, if they are renewing Nyuni and agreeing to a 3D seismic work-program, then they must have plans for financing, which i still stand by. As for "what's happening there", God knows, time will tell, but AEX hasn't rescinded yet. Plus I'm still convinced there are M&A talks going on in the background by interested parties.

matherdj, you would seem to suggest there is no urgency no growing demand or need for gas, there are timescales and weather-windows to carry out the 3D seismic and the CH-1 drill, so If not this year, when ?, next year, when they have to renew the license again ?

no doubt the TPDC/Gov will want to see expectable progress to the work-program, but this is a check and roll-over yearly license, until that work be done. note extension(s)

"On Mnazi Bay, for the first months of 2021, the demand is quite high now, 100% of 70 million per day. We are today accumulated an average of 80 million. And these last weeks, we have a demand that was about $100 million. And we did a capacity test of our facilities. So it's a production that our installation facilities never reached. i really don't see that as an issue at all, APT has just presented their (revised schedule) work-program, not just to AEX and SCIR but also to the (Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation) and note, "APT is in the process of awarding the initial contracts for the new high-resolution 3D seismic". So the work-program is starting, the license l rolls over, as acknowledged in RNS (Ruvuma Licence Extension Granted), "the Company will therefore apply for an additional extension(s) as necessary and as permissible under the current legislation."

APT has presented both the joint venture partners and the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation with a revised schedule showing seismic acquisition taking place over 480 km² during the second and third quarter of 2021 with processing being completed thereafter.

really, so to speak, APT hasn't spent any money as of yet, or not until the 3D start to get underway, and now it looks like all the ducks have been lined up to give them a clear line of sight to revenue, in just over 3 years. So hopefully as the 3D takes place and with the spud of the CH-1 well drawing ever nearer, positive news flow should increase along with that very depressed SP. : )
