yes where is it, I don't think ARA back in Sept's RNS, would or could have stated "We are encouraged by the ongoing discussions with the Tanzanian authorities to be able to accelerate the planning for the early spud of the Chikumbi-1 well" if they hadn't already been assured by Sakson that a suitable rig was available.

it looks like Zarara Oil and Gas finished the Pate-2 Well in Kenya back in march, and were using the Sakson rig SK-604 to finish the well off , so where that rig is now, one might wonders ?

yes Bluff, defiantly drilling next year, but I think the question is, when will it spud? In any case its going to be very exciting drill , fist the Ntorya appraisal, revealing hopefully an even thicker pay zone than that at NT-2, and then drilling onto to test the Jurassic prospect, and who knows what treasures could await us down there : )

i don't think they will need to many wells, maybe 4 in total, to fill the spare capacity of the processing plant

yes i think the pressure scared the pants off of them and then of course, they had to go and over compensate mudding up, anyway i wouldn't be surprised after the well is cleaned up to see it then produce at 40-50 mmcf/d

I believe at least 25m was perforated at NT-2 prior to the well test, and reading the RPS Energy report on the results, makes you wonder, just what the flow rate would had been if it wasn't damaged by mudding up due to the high pressures.

might be wrong and completely off the mark, but once the PSA licence is issued does not Solo's 25% share of Ntorya, look and become a lot more valuable and attractive to any outside company, that might be considering a hostile move on Solo, so hence their shares being suspended when licence is issued will protect them for a time from being bought up for a hostile takover.
