It’s actually ironic that Russian influence in oil price 2019-2020 was designed to push the oil price down and rid the US of Permian oil companies.
This it did in some respects ,at the time .
It’s now backfiring ,now the oil price is ballooning

These companies are coming back strong and are necessary
for US oil reserves.

Seems like a school boy error from the cement operator
running cement through the cement standpipe (a high pressure valve manifold arrangement which directs flow)
I guessing a batch of cement was made
Then released through the standpipe, but remember it’s
High pressure maybe 5000-10000# pressure, so the kickback
is huge . Think he would soon now he’s done a Frank Spencer

The outside operator whose not part of the drilling team but paid by maybe baker Hughes is responsible for sure.
As previously stated ‘can be rectified’ maybe the batch of cement may have been wasted and disposed of.

That’s a pretty good summary ….
Although size is now the size of a 40ft container on a land rig
2motors, high pressure pump, mud mix tub, liquid additives
and an elevated platform for the cementer controller.
The cementer is normally a separate rental item from one of the big three Halliburton, baker Hughes or Schlumberger who
will often provide a specialised operative. Anything goes wrong on that equipment it’s the supplier who fixes it.

atmospheric .
Also exposed at drum mix for small batches and at flushing
between cement cycles.
