Nice article in IV on equals , rated as a top pick with a. SP target of 120p , probably the reason for today’s move .

I think that there’s a lot of interest in coal after the latest Russian sanctions, Bens has probably caught the attention of the wider market even though the sanctions don’t really affect Bens market to much .
Quite funny I was chatting to a guy on Twitter who’s a pretty smart chap and tips up a lot of winning shares, Monday he wasn’t interested in Bens “ I don’t touch miners or oil companies “ Even after I’d explained the figures and how ridiculously cheap Bens Valuation is …….. last night he messaged me again asking for more information ;) , once the wider market wakes up Bens will get to its true worth much quicker than most of us think IMO .
Above 94p close sets up £1+ Monday with or without an RNS dropping. With an RNS it could get very interesting.
GLA , enjoy the weekend.
I think any opening bid would have to be pitched @ 180p+ and as you suggest £2 is very realistic especially if more than one party are interested ;)
Bit of bid speculation after a large block of shares was bought off market yesterday second such transaction in a fortnight. Possibly a big American company .
I added another 10,000 yesterday so that’s 21-/22 ISA allowance gone . Hopefully top up again next week funds allowing . I THINK the bottom of this current move is around 82-84p , it would seem many understandable have taken a little off the table after such a fantastic run . I’d suggest pretty much any positive news on 2nd HWM , rail link , 2nd shift pushes us up over £1 quickly.
Nice bit of bullish news out this morning which should help coal prices !

Another nice mention from John Quakes about POW latest uranium update , 54k followers so nice exposure. .positive drilling news would skyrocket POW as uranium is possible the best kept commodity secret in town although it’s beginning to gain traction. All the smart commodities investors are looking for the next undiscovered micro uranium play , let’s hope it’s POW !
Unbelievable the uk market is so out of touch with the uranium trade , yellow cake has been a full size core holding for a year now & still trading well below NAV . If memory serves correctly $1 spot uranium = 9p YCA So with uranium @ $58+ We are still well short of a true value here .

Self hosted wallets are the only way to actually own. Your own. Crypto, they are also by far the most secure. To the extent I’m not aware of a cold wallet ever been hacked . The EU is proposing self custody effectively been banned forcing ppl to store their coins on exchanges, exchanges which have a very checkered history when it comes to hacks btw . Ppl also need to understand that in the same way when you deposit cash into a bank you have no legal ownership of that money you also have no legal ownership of crypto on exchanges, hence the term not your keys not your money !
So let’s say QBT start mining in EU , under proposed legislation they can’t host there own crypto so will be forced to deposit on an exchange whereas North America miners can host themselves with all the advantages that gives . That puts QBT at a very large disadvantage when it comes to fund raising .
Sensible regulation is to be welcomed, what the EU have just done is ensured crypto industry stagnation and more than likely an exodus from the block .
The Eu just voted in favour of tighter crypto regulations…. the EU just effectively banned crypto wallets / any personal crypto freedom. unforgivable.
Anyone else catch the thread on Twitter between sue Ennis and QBT before it got deleted?
I wrote a long post on Thursday night saying I felt looking at the charts a move to 94/96p on Friday was on and if that transpired a move to 102-104p was inevitable, for some reason it didn’t get published on here . I’d been luck enough nail the last 3 or 4 moves up and down so my luck was sure to run out eventually. TA is only a guid to probability anyway.
I not another much smaller coal producer has moved significantly today on news of production. So I’m thinking possibly a little money has gone in that direction. Ultimately the more interest in the space the better , even now I personally think BEN is very much under the radar of most . Maybe just waiting on the next RNS for the next major leg up , in the meantime these small pullbacks give us opportunities to load up .
Have a good day all .
There’s no chance BTC will go to POS , PoW is what makes Bitcoin such a strong network. You need to understand that Eth and BTC are two very different animals.
Just to address another point from another poster , yes it is possible that Bitcoin could go to zero , but let me assure you if that were to happen you’d have far more pressing concerns than investments, realistically the internet worldwide been turned off indefinitely is the only way Bitcoin go’s to zero . People have suggested that quantum computing could overpower the network but remember that’s already been allowed for in the protocol so isn’t the problem some claim it to be .
Finally another big vote by the nutters @ the EU on Thursday, hopefully common sense will prevail but the far left and Green lobby seem to lacking in that department.
Firstly hands up I don’t know that much about exploration/ mining but for me POW gives such a wide exposure to metals with a nice geographical spread and a good experienced management team it’s an ideal play in this sector.
Looking at the fundamentals of the uranium market alone. If POW do strike yellow cake then uranium alone could elevate the SP multiples . As with any micro caps there’s a lot of ifs but at current valuation I think the risk to reward is weighted in our favour. GLA
Twitters biggest uranium bull ( by followers ) just mentioned POW. If nothing else it gives us wider exposure.
I suggested last week a pullback to the 81-85p level would be healthy and create a nice base for the next leg up , I’m not sure we’ll drop that far but I’ve buy orders in @ 85p & 83p as others have rightly pointed out anything below 100p is really a no brainier so I’m excusing myself for buying a few at spot this morning at 90p ! GLA
This a top board btw , so many other boards are full of know it all BS merchants who clearly don’t understand the market or the companies they claim to be investing in .
Canaan , DYOR ;)
Some contributors appear to be absolutely obsessed with this stock , chill out and tune out ffs .
If you’re confident in the company/research then you shouldn’t be obsessing .
It’s very clear from price movements and trades the day traders are playing QBT , that’s no problem it just means the so moves in the 2.2p-3p range whilst waiting for concrete news . Positive news propels the so above 4p quickly negative news drops them back to 1p .
Clearly the biggest factor is the patent news and the actual speeds / power consumption but Bitcoins price will also be a driver . I personally think the lows are in for Bitcoin now , there’s so much positive news coming through- Honduras , volcano bonds Goldman Sachs I’m confident once $42.5k is broken and held we should rise steadily, but don’t expect the huge god candles we had before, unless something totally out of the blue happens BTC will just keep gaining and pulling back in much smaller steadily steps .
Watching Bitcoin and and an individual stock will drive you crazy and inevitably lead to poor decisions. Step back and chill out .
I think it would be very positive if we pull back to the 81-85p area for a few days , things that go up in a straight line tend to attract then FOMO / speculators. Who are the kind that don’t research. They are also the ones that at the first setback ( for instance coal slipping $50) throw in the towel and sell out . Better to step up steady in price with a good solid shareholders , the fundamentals are strong with BEN So I’m very confident we’ll get to the suggested sp some of our well informed contributors suggest .
Better to get to £4.50 in 12months and hold that level than shoot to £5 for an hour and collapse back to 60p . GLA We have a gem of a company here , steady progress is the way .
Bens is one of those stocks you sit and do the maths on the figures you have available and you think nah I must have that wrong . Just kicking myself I only put a 1/4 position on @ 23p and I wasn’t more aggressive on the pull back to 63p last week .
Clearly crossing £1 will be significant as it’s such a big move for those in early but I’d suggest to those in early (10-20p) not taking anymore than there original investment off the table as these have plenty of coal to add to the fire yet . GLA
