I don't think they are actively doing exploration right now, presumably concentrating on optimisation of the process plant first to help get to the 23.5 Koz target, which once achieved will then allow them to fund exploration? That would appear to be the sensible approach.

Russia will not leave Donbas while Putin is still breathing. He tmay at some point in the future say Russia has left Ukraine while he still has troops defending disputed regions, claiming them to be no longer part of Ukraine

Zelensky may have to accept that to achieve piece, but that does not mean that the civilised world should let up on sanctions at all until Russia has left completely and there is regime change in Russia. Regime change is crucial as we (the west) simply cannot deal with Putin, and therefore Russia as a whole while he's still in charge

I take the view that anything the Kremlin says is almost certainly a lie so that report to me is very bad news and suggests they intend to stay in Ukraine indefinitely.

I also hold this just for the 10 to 12% divi without expectation of significant gains in SP.

However, in light of the current NG market, Russia to be phased out of the European gas supply, likely permanently and the deal announced yesterday for increased LNG supplies to Europe from the US I think we may now soon see the SP reach new highs

There is no chance Russia could successfully occupy and "run" Ukraine as we have seen from the huge resistance put up by the people of Ukraine.

However it (the ****** known as Putin) seems to be operating a policy of, if I cannot have it, neither can you, and destroying everything before it like a spoilt brat.

That is the risk to FXPO IMO

This is a far lower risk than investing in either Russia or China as far as I'm concerned. In fact I've avoided Russia since 2014 for moral reasons.

I agree it's very odd. However, no matter whether it's $1800, $1900 or $2000 it's still at least double the price that CMCL spend digging it out of the ground. That's why I don't understand the current SP.
