Sorry its old news for most of you but the snippets may be of interest
Aoka Mizu FPSO
FPSO departure date confirmed for UK oilfield
Lancaster oilfield has been in production for nearly seven years
The productive life of the Lancaster oilfield in the UK West of Shetland area will come to a conclusion in the second quarter this year (2026), according to the field operator.

One of the few FPSOs to actually be redeployed as intended, with the potential of heading to the sea lion field. Was great working on the 1st project back then, great asset and great team!!! Go Aoka Mizu!

It does what it says on the tin - "it's reusable". Anyone remember the original Seillean, the BP SWOPS vessel/FPSO. In Gaelic it means Bee i.e. the vessel was meant to be a Bee moving (buzzing) from Oil Field to Oil Field gathering the honey (oil). The concept still works, and so good to see the AM following the path. Many happy years on the project.

Unfortunately most of the crew are being paid off and replaced with Philippines and South Africans, I've been reliably informed
