January 25 update - Net debt reduced by 11% since 30 June 2024 to £32.3 million??? Not sure how it’s increased to £84mn?

Trading update due soon plus final dividend of £0.0063 tbc… it hopefully will be back up to 60p+ by the year end! Show some optimism Salver2 as you seem to be talking it down but still investing…

I’ve been called many things but I’m not delusional! Thanks for the faith! And I’m not sure your 10 years forecast is reflective of anything. Travis Perkins isn’t a comparison. Lords has excellence and hopefully bandwidth to enable things to respond as the building market picks up. They’re a cash business so hopefully cash at bank gives them buying power still as the loan had been paid down and assuming banking covenants are not too restrictive, not an issue. 30p in the next few weeks and then they climb.

I’m absolutely gobsmacked at how the market and punters have dropped this to the bottom of the pit. I agree margins need addressing but the brands are worth significantly more in a business with great opportunities and profits which will hit £14mn after tax for the calendar year 2025.

This remains a big buy with growth and value combined. Shameless market manipulation and sinking it at the expense of long term holders…

It is evident that funding will arrive prior to any delisting! Clearly the BoD’s are forcing the SP lower for personal can which is total market manipulation. People look at the wording of yesterday’s RNS. This is a big buy at 8am and 15p again here we come … is my hunch!

When you invest you hope to gain but some you lose, some you win. It’s a fact I’ve lost a lot more than gained during my time. I was on this board many moons ago and it was good to chat and have opinions as an investor.

I think it’s extremely rare to have so many uninvested people on a chat board with so many negative opinions on a share they have no attachment too or value to add. The last you want to realise is you’re invested in bad news and sometimes it might be. Take Horizontal Minerals. A great company that had the assets but their overruns lead to the administrator’s arriving and all was lost and a 3/4 mine built worth billions but unfinished. The difference here is MATD are now producing; they have prime assets, new offerings in renewables but do need additional partnership support to go it big. A sale of block 20 is an option but this can be a real success. I guess what I’m saying is to hear daily all the negative talk from people whom have no vested interest is mind boggling to say the least. No signed agreement np. No confirmed JV or new investor np. All is being worked upon, they are pumping oil and the future is bright…
