Thanks Laura- sorry I totally missed the connection. That seems to say they’re still in a good position to manage regional contracts and are confident too in meeting market expectations so it begs the question who the insiders were as clearly this rattled confidence and the MMs were able to profit materially!

The SP decline has been very profitable to the MMs! A ridiculous drop, hug spread which narrowed, has to be questioned by everyone including company executives. These will surely rebound and I’d like the CEO to issue a statement as to company’s position and specifically what triggered this free fall….

It’s definitely odd the drop but hopefully up to £1 before close! Seems possible based on the volatility- profits are gaining momentum and revenues increasing significantly. 2025 is a looking positive per the recent presentation so with quality IT courses and working partners rapidly increasing, well placed for bigger things.

The results were decent with good prospects for 2025. Shares were up to 117p and yesterday closed at 96p. Opened at 90-91p today and have sunk again. So what has changed since the results were published? Somebody has leaked something and be probably have lost a large contract?????

Probably similar to last year …notice of results early next week and final results mid May…. I think there will be an acquisition announcement in the next week too. Just a hunch!

I think it is to accelerate branch openings, provide extra working capital and the terms of the lease back were pretty generous. Shanker clearly is guaranteeing future prosperity and protecting his party’s majority shareholding by this transaction. Results soon and I hope a dividend of at least 0.65p is declared.

The market is always negative. Wickes seems to be doing pretty well so hopefully things will move in the right direction very soon for LORDS!

Seems sensible although even better, a £2mn gain on sale plus they’ve opened 3 new branches in Maidstone, Mansfield and Bicester. Organic growth and selective acquisitions are at the forefront of strategy so I’m hoping the new branches will produce strong sales, add profitability with better margins being attained as bulk buying gives better negotiating leverage.

Results will be due soon so hoping to see a significant lift in the SP!

Swaps are standard as is currency hedging. There are standard margins that have to be deposited in the event of currency movements hence there will be initial margin and variation margin accounts which need to be funded. If the client doesn’t fund then close out the trade so the risk is with the client as they’re not trading as principal but as an agent.
