Actually re reading it the guy replacing the outgoing director has worked in asia for 20 years and was at Simec at a time when its mcap and standing were much higher, plus seems more technically biased. So to be honest, especially how its gone the last 6 months, a change and that change in particular should be a good thing. No offemce to the outgoing individual. All in my own view anyway.
Not really, people change jobs and companies. Could be for any personal reason, other business interests, whatever. Does not mean the wheels are coming off at all, could be the other way around and the rest of the board feel they can move better without him. Who knows. Simply a job change that requires notification as they are on the board.
Just for reference i clicked it earlier and opened the link with outlook and it was as described, maybe it was uploaded by mistake or something. I have no idea how the process works , but it had attachments and pdfs too.
Looks encouraging but obviously nothing is confirmed until it is or it isnt. LTH for me anyway.
Its negative because the price has bombed from 290 to 157 and despite having the best whatever it is useless without the business, as a business, moving it forward. Ive held for a year but my feet are getting very cold, im holding yo fruition but right now with these fu!king delays and lack of business building its not easy. Money being eroded, that is where the negativity is coming from my friend.
And its a wait until other things come off. Hope it all does though.
Not bad that, they see financing in place until next financial year without a placing by looking to exisitng agreements etc. All that means for me is smiles as it means uskmouth and some business can be done before any need for a placing, which should avoid the need for one.
In my priviate investor non professional view thats better than i expected it. Bring on the Uskmouth decisions :)
Tell you what, all these boards would work well if different views played out like this :)
Me im holding a modest amount, by my standards, at 60k shares up from 40 when it dropped to the 5s. Sold 10k today to up the TGR by a little. For what its worth i feel the company hasnt changed, sentiment has. And within a few years as long as it survives and has some good decisions i cannot see why it couldnt climb to the 50p mark. Uskmouth, i think, is a 50/50 with the welsh government even though it makes sense for it to go ahead. But really Simec NEED to be shifting the sub coal out world wide and expanding, and PR'ing the balls out of it and tidal. They need to get the PR machine cranking as the idea and techs there, but at the moment they are the genius kid too shy to talk loud, but at some point that kid grows up and makes the big bucks. :) As ever dyor and genuinely good luck all, but F the hedge funds :)
An 8% drop for a 2.5% raise, overdone. Makes no sense. Though dog **** timing to announce. Still, companys update holds true, im in and have been for a while and averaged down, no stress on the company at all. But annoyed this has halted the rise to where it should be, morons tbh.
With the whole its a buy or sell, arent all trades both? Or is it a buy if its requested and the mm basically collate a ton of smaller sells to fill the 'buy', and a sell is the opposite? So its reported based on the original request, as to buy someome has to sell and vice versa?
Sorry i should clarify, churn thank you for the reponse.
Aquae your arrogance is saying others are "newbies" or not serious is an off putting personality trait, i research, i just wasn't sure on the outstanding warrants. Maybe be a bit more approachable to people you've never communicated with, instead of being on a high horse over a singular question. Your not better than others, its a message board for a share to discuss it, you dont own the board from a throne.
Apologies for getting drawn into a personal comment, i'll be "on my way" now from your special board. Good luck all and cheers.
I just asked a question on warrants, no idea what drives you to be a prick about it but thats your dance so enjoy it.
Genuinely baffling why you would give some personal comment about me not being a serious investor like your a super genius who knows it all and i should be on my way, but if it helps your opinion means less than next doors ****erpoos so feel free to spout it like a yappy pup for attention as I won't engage you any further on it.
I like the company, am invested, simply said the warrants are deflating and despite looking could not see how many were outstanding.
Thanks to the people who can discuss shares without being personal or acting like toddlers.
Doe's anyone know, or know how to see, the remaining warrants? I'm invested but 20 warrant exercises since thr beginning of December is making me wonder about pulling out while breaking even and allocating elsewhere. If they are nearly over i'll stick with it.
I agree, i like the company, like its direction. But it is being a bit deflating with the constant warrant RNS notifications when the funds we hold in this could have been allocated elsewhere or redeemed and reinvested. Still positive on the company however some value boost would be welcome for the non warrant holders
