FWIW my opinion is that you will get more than that but the deal (I do believe there is one) wont be for some mega billion dollar deal that it should have been but more in the 100's of millions. Some could still 10 bag but no euromillionaires will be made.

Also there could be deal made where we get sod all...but my gut feeling (with the very few hard facts that we have) is for the above.

Star: why a "fantasy"? Anything could be stated for all sorts of reasons by the lawyers to belie what is really going on, you know that. We can all speculate either for the negative or positive from any statements made, but why always the negative? Or do you believe you are a realist...? :-)

Absolutely agree Aurora, there has to be a consortium of companies, it will be too big and expensive to develop for one, but I believe it will be headed up by ExxonMobil or a subsidiary of. IMV the Russians will be happier with Exxon than BP and if they are happy it will definitely happen whomever is elected.

Isn't JJ Carter the clue? Could well be with a subsidiary of Exxon if it happens as MP alluded to. Exxon Neftgas has its headquarters in Moscow. Could be them or a completely new subsidiary of Exxon just for Georgia.

Actually Reg I'd say the third option is the most likely. Money talks. They both (SN & ZZ) have a lot more invested in this than any other individual. Hope still wants these shares badly. You have to ask yourself why.

SN is ready to retire and wants his pension pot.
ZZ wants funds for his political career.

Pure speculation I know.

And the ruskies were extremely upset about that at the time when that kicked off. This could be many many times bigger. You can understand why they are behaving as they are. This would crucify their current and future economic model.
