Short positions seem to be overheating
Over the weekend the FT flagged the problems buy-out firms are having raising - most investors want exits it seems. Could be a sad case of good opportunity, wrong time.
Maybe we can claw back when the unknown FCA affect becomes known
Tend to agree, things appear more fishy than Shore Lane
" bonk holiday " will do.
“ I do not trust the Wood board to reject the 35p deal “ Altogether now…… “there is NO deal”

Bob - do i need to use ai to udnerstand ai now?
Looks like what it has always suggested, 35p done deal - wrapped up in cautionary language
".If you sell an asset you don't still own it, this asset was part of the package that Sid might possibly bidding on..." sure - but if you sell it for more than it's book value ...............................?
Amers - ok, let's round it up. Same old same sold, Amers. Been a while. Hope things have faired well for you.
Does that not reduce the amount Sid need to pay in by c. £100M? therefore, all other things being equal, the pps ought to now be c. 50p?
3/4 of target achieved pretty much H1. Not bad
" Just under half what Sid are offering for the whole company 😂😂 " - lol
Sept/Oct usally v bad for UK market. Maybe the FCA inv is (kindof) a help.
Sid claim they don't have a scoobie what's in store and the long tabled strike price is suddenly now (not on the FCA RNS) shakey ......... ppppppppppppuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuullllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
" the veracity of the FT article - although, I suspect they have reasonable sources. " - aye, the shorts.
