On 8-08-2015 I placed, in a virtual portfolio,100 shares in TUI @ 1008.25 and 100 in TCG @ 123. Today TUI shows a 41.84% gain and for TCG a 52.3 % loss. Not scientific I accept. But a snapshot of the dismal TCG performance over 3 years.

Been in this since 2013 when TCG flirted with 200. Harriet. Green left and the decline started.
Bought at 56, 06/07/2016. Dec 2016 it went through 90 and then after another 6 months it cracked 100.
Careful management makes that not a bad investment over 12 months. I would expect a similar outcome over the next 12 months unless a buy out occurs. If there is a buy out then a serious overhaul will occur. The Chinese - Fosun - like brands and that’s all TCG is. I expected more from Fankhauser.
Time to dump the bucket and spade image. No more silly episodes with the popular press and ambulance chasing legal suits who recently kept bad news live through the slow news period. Disastrous PR.. Fundamentally it is the same business as it was when it recenltly hit 150. Good luck. as it creeps back up.

This was due tomorrow and is still on the official TCG.financial schedule as 25 September. Monday a good day to load the double bad news on shareholders. For those of you getting in now - congratulations !! Plus the whole market is reacting to the trade war inflicted on us by the moronic Trump. I would love to see Fosun mop it up now.

Broker ratings in January, as best I can see, are two upgrades and one re-iterate. That might just tip the algorithms in our favour. What a world. Friday might be more interesting than Thursday. But we expect the unexpected. i still like the look of TCG

A share which has stood up to the blood letting of the the last 24 hours with a small 1% fall suggests TCG is not the company we knew 12 months ago. Good luck for Thursday

Invariably early morning rises retrace around 10.00 am. Then they tend to level out and by afternoon we will get a clearer idea. Overall TCG has held up since its rise back in August and for me that means the market broadly has a positive outlook. I doubt this is going back to 115 but who knows whats going on in the fast moving modern world of trades. My belief is that TCG is a solid company in an industry subject to the vagaries of world affairs. 150 is not unrealistic. Puffy is quietly chuckling I would guess. GLA.
