Gordon Bennett! I didn’t buy anything today. I went out to enjoy the sunshine. One thing I have found over the years is that the share with the largest chat boards are the ones to avoid as usually always ends in disaster. Look at the last big chat board SXX.

People will be avoiding flying out to Florida this year on this latest news. Orlando is usually the busiest and most profitable places for a large number of airlines. Expect another round of stock market falls which unfortunately has a knock on effect to all stocks as we saw in March.

I always think the Rothschild method of investing is always a good pointer. If they are down by 10% on a stock they sell no matter what. That way you only ever lose 10% and never a victim of some of these large crashes. Then you can buy back a later date when the markets improve. Best never to keep buying into a falling stock and of course spread your investments.

I love Aston Martins but car stocks are never a good investment as there is just too much competition. Tesla is a bit of a one-off simply because it is a one-off.

After 3 months of the biggest rise in the markets in history a big correction was on the cards. Sold out everything before this correction and will wait for the next round. One thing people need to learn is that you don’t need to be making money every day. Watching and waiting is all part of this business. Just waiting now for delivery of my ASTON MARTIN DB11. Hadn’t planned to get one these but the talk here made me interested and take a look plus the big discounts on offer at the moment.

Agree. Could see a bit of a fall all round. Best wait till some better news. Still the good news is I have just grabbed a bargain in the form of a nice used AM. Only one lady owner and only 2K miles. I was able to easily negotiate a £10K discount (should have pushed for a bit more) Just waiting on it to be delivered at end of next week. Will keep you posted as to how it goes.

I told you that 30p broker target would be the direction and probably on the cards. Still we need people to make the losses otherwise we don’t make the profits. All fixed against your individual investor.

Technical analyst Ari Wald said Tesla Inc.’s stock TSLA was a bullish “Triple Play” at Oppenheimer & Co., because it is fundamentally rated outperform, screens positively in his trend work and because it is supported by “top-down” market tailwinds.

Interesting the some of the best investors in the business at Scottish Mortgage are investing substantially in Tesla.

Tesla is the future sadly Aston Martin is a lovely company but still in the past. Unless this new chap can turn things around which Of course is possible.

Kepler Cheuvreux today reaffirms its reduce investment rating on Aston Martin Lagonda (LON:AML) and raised its price target to 30p (from 25p).

One of the main holdings for Scottish Mortgage Is Tesla. Predictions for Tesla is that it could treble from current sp. could not do any worse than just lump your funds in Scottish Mortgage and have a balanced portfolio. Brokers latest target for AML sadly is 30p! Still all my best trades have been picking up shares on the cheap. Netflix and FB being my best buys back in 2012. I must confess that I am keeping my eye on AML to see it goes any lower or back to 30p.

At least Aston Martin know how to go Bankrupt they have done that 7 times.

You just never know. No matter what I say about hold for just 30 minutes shares are a long term thing which I have found if you want to make big money. I mostly buy US stocks and spend my time over in the US. It stuck here in the UK at the moment. Made most of my money buying FB and Netflix back in 2012. Bought in to FB after its IPO when it fell to from US$36 to $18 as looked a bargain, the rest is history. Netflix was even better. Joke to cheer things up:

How comes so many talking about this one? Do find the quiet chat boards the best performing shares. So me thinks I will continue to avoid this one.

One thing I have learned over the years of investing is buy the big dips. Did the best I have ever done recently with 300% gains on Dart, TLW & ASC. Just wished I had worked to compound them and could have turned every £1K into £27K. Keep looking back and thinking if only. Hindsight Is such a wonderful thing in this game.

This share has done well since its IPO. Not one to invest in to make enough to buy an Aston Martin. Does have its bounces though - if you can catch them.

Just a lovely large contract which Lam are best and most experienced at which is why they have won this. Congratulations to them after all this bad news everywhere it is good to see such good news. Well done.

Just been chatting with my daughter over Sunday lunch. I questioned her that I had noticed that a lot of bags being delivered these days are from ASOS rather than BooHoo. She said that ASOS is much better quality stuff than BooHoo and that is why. I grabbed a load of ASOS when it dropped to nearly 1000p as looked a bargain. booHoo is one of those to best just trade and not hold for more than 30 minutes.

One thing to be in during any form of recession is the legal business. I am in the legal costs side of things and have been since 1970s and seen it all. I am suddenly doing very well on the costs front and think this will do well too.
