Yes ,
Only China could produce such number of tests and force their population to take them daily. But we (ODX) are in a brilliant position to manufacture ( scaling up) antibody and Soon antigen tests to tick some government box’s Big Style.
To be fair I’m just seeing green stuff as filtered RorkesDrift and AfamaMan. Double barrelled shotgun into a barrel (Trolls in a barrel, poor things)
RorkesDrift,
Conservative model of markets suggests that the majority of investors think ODX worth about 1/3 of Avacta. Would match the likely demand for antigen and Antibody tests.
Thanks for your insight and research. I guess I believe you so I will sell my ODX stock first thing tomorrow. ( Balls to that plan I think I will just stay put. Actually I know I will stay put)
From recent RNS, Omega legal manufacture .
Omega will be the legal manufacturer of the test and will be able to manufacture up to 100,000 tests per week initially out of its Alva facility in Scotland, which is currently undergoing refurbishment to increase capacity as planned. Omega will commercialise the test as a VISITECT® branded product and expects to announce the product's full marketing launch later this month.
Malpenn,
Thanks for sharing that link . 10 Million tests a day !!
A separate PowerPoint presentation prepared for the government by the global management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, also seen by The BMJ, says the plans had the potential to grow the UK’s testing capacity from the current 350?000 a day to up to 10 million tests a day by early 2021.
Matt Han**** said,
We are rolling these tests out right now !!
Last week, I was able to announce £500 million for next-generation tests, like saliva tests and rapid turnaround tests that can deliver results in just 20 minutes.
The ability to get rapid, on-the-spot results will significantly increase the weapons in our armoury, in our fight both against coronavirus, and for economic recovery.
We are rolling out these tests right now and plan to use them to relieve capacity constraints, to expand asymptomatic testing to find the virus, and to give people the confidence that a negative test result brings.
Symbo1,
The ramp up in production to 2 million tests per week that ODX are currently working on will possibly just cover Heathrow Airport testing capacity. (If flights and travel get back to normal) .
I think ODX need to ramp up their Ramp up as 2 million production per week is going to be insufficient to meet demand. It would be interesting to see a revised Finncap assessment of ODX.
80.8 million passengers
It is one of six international airports serving the London region. In 2019, it handled a record 80.8 million passengers, a 0.9% increase from 2018 as well as 475,861 aircraft movements, a decrease of 1,743 from 2018. The airport facility is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings.

Yes and ODX will soon be able to offer both home test kits, antigen and antibody in there Millions per week. This will enable the opening up of our economy.
Labour talking sense on airport testing. PM hung up on only catching 7% of infected people. Infuriating aaaagh .
Tree,
Thanks for the links.... excellent. Thank you
I think the cat is already out of the bag thanks to the government insisting on people wearing masks. Social distancing has now but all gone out the window. Schools going back now. Scotland already in trouble.
We need a back up plan or a therapeutic that works. Wonder if SGN have one .
Hope link works, apologises if already posted. Fingers and toes crossed that Mologic are the chosen test for Heathrow as they cannot produce 98million test without assistance from ODX :-)

Hopeingmore,
You joust filtered a giraffe in dark glasses. Poor thing :-)
