MM`and Massive Drops6 Oct 2020 16:38
This is a common occurrence esp on AIM and isn`t hard to understand, you just need bottle, balls and faith to withstand these attacks on your money by MM`s. Who like you are there to make money as your expense.
What has happened here is a perfect example. I say its common because it happened on ODX yesterday. (There was a 15% drop in half an hour as the ceo was giving an excellent presentation on the firm) Because peeps had been waiting for this presentation for a week there was nervousness and some panic selling. Hoovered up by them, normal PI`s couldn`t buy which is another aspect of this underhand behaviour. ) Share ended up blue at the end of the day.
These enforced drops I`ve noticed are always surrounded by something to make you believe that selling is a good thing. Firstly you`ve got to deal with that your money is fast disappearing and that in this case its relating to fake news. Why is everybody else selling ? They must know something, I must sell. You`ve sold a pound for 50p and here`s the great thing for the MM`s you`ll complete the circle by buying the 50p back for a pound. This is what has happened here today.
Like Warren Buffet said the best and hardest thing to do with stocks is to sometimes do nothing.
I think there`s more money to be made here but if you`ve done your`re research, etc , etc don`t let them rob you. The real key is mental strength , not looking at the sp every 5 minutes (which is my weakness) and sticking it out. As we`ve seen today not everyone can. Potentially a lesson to be learned for the rest of your investing life!
