with the first wave over pin some/most countries especially in Europe and a 2nd wave predicted would not most countries be planning for that and now they have some time to prepare they would surely be looking at getting the best out there at the best price and then start stocking up and placing orders which should fall right into our territory . I am not predicting millions of sales but over the next few months it should alter the depressing sp we are at now.

Unfortunately this has nt blasted off to the moon as i was hoping for with regards to sales and sp but is that my fault or the company s, mine possibly ?. I am taking friday as a possitive negative in so much as the the sales arent great but at least we have pre sales . It now seems any approvals are being a lot more stringent possibly due to many being passed out of desperation at the time but feel confident that they will be granted and then sales will follow . I am not expecting to corner the market but just to get a slice but have moved my timelines out to christmas now to achieve my now revised target of £2.50 plus , did i get carried away with a much higher sp , yes , but with where we were at the time i felt confident we could achieve those . Whose fault , mine entirely as greed and dreams with wishful thinking kicked in but confidence is still there in the company and the products so happy to hold .

We know that the govt are not going to give us 50% of the £5b contract without doing a few checks, or is that just wishful thinking .....?????????

Safy , I think you need to polish your punctuations . The poster did say last week that his target was £1.50, and then he has revised that by the sounds of it to over £2 hence the buy all the way down . A comma here or there and your post would have been spot on .

And now when you do a hand cut roof with built in ridges and purlins you still have to put restraint straps and noggins in , that's because we use cheap quality wood that will rot in 30-40 years not oak that are still standing hundreds of years on , been house building over 35 years now and the quality of materials has reduced but the amount of quality checking has increased, mainly imo is the advent of price work AND quality of training or lack of it .

We know that technically we will be in recession soon and the govt will/are throwing money so as to prevent it from happening , but with furlough ending soon which could quite likely lead to even more redunantcy s will this lead to a reduced sales market in new houses ?.
It was widely accepted that the june figures would be low and it seems most builders are pushing to make the end of year figures better , but if they don't meet market expectations then it could see a reversal in builing programmes.

BB, would I be right in assuming that you are waiting for all the information from the company regarding tests and sales information rather than waiting for your sp target ?

It would be good to get a bit of positive sentiment back in this share once all the mates rates buying and selling are finished before we start to get any news on sales figures so as we can get the sp to match the figures on sales we are hoping for .

With the news we are due I am 85% confident of £3 plus , 70%plus of £4 60%plus of £5 , the only thing I have no idea is of when , so my expectation of £3 would be great news for what I hold anything over that is just the cherry on the top .

Morning all , cant remember this being discussed but as we all want the m cap to become a lot higher than it is and should be , how many test sales are we going to need to get us in the region of say £150-200m m cap . I am looking at it this way as opposed to £ deals as just another option as I am thinking we should have a steady stream of news on deals once they start .?

Wants to use his money so as to enhance and improve the lives of others , fair play to him as a few $b to him is nothing really , but he is also a sharp cookie and is also using his money so as to self fund for the future projects so he picks little old gdr to put a few £m into and not looking to sell for a year as I see it and also help fund us for the future . Working on the fact that gdr will have to announce sales as and when they come in , once they start then we could well be in a news period of days and hopefully weeks of rns s with sales news

Ha ha just had a quick glance , so the bod have been unable to find a company for an rto after over 6 months , so they are looking to move the company onto another exchange , dilute the company so our shares reduce even further so they get more cash into the company to help them find a company to buy . Bull sh>t they just want a final payday.

It sounds like a good idea but to take it a step further would you not also have to do the staff at the airport and flight crew on a daily basis just in case they passed it on to the passengers and then the logistics of where to do it and keeping a 2 meter distance while checking in. You would probably have to arrive at least 4 hours before flight time and imagine going through all of that hen only to be told the flight is cancelled as the pilot has symptoms and none on standby. I think flying in the near future is going to be a risk reward option for those looking to fly.

Whether we get a vaccine or antibody test there is only one way you can be sure they both work and that is with a reliable test . If you have had coved how long are you immune for , a week , a month , a year or forever and the same with a vaccine you can only be sure with a test to see if you have it and does that apply to everyone or will the vaccines work differently to individuals or do the different strains need different types of vaccines . As yet the science can't answer any of these questions so unfortunately the only thing that can happen is to test and trace.

Totally agree, it is very weird at work atm with some with a blasé attitude to distancing . Almost up and running with build targets but quite slow. I heard TW are trying for an 80% build target but that seems a little optomistic but sales seem steady where I am working .
As all footings are on hold over a number of firms and sites about 30% of groundworkers have been laid of f with those remaining having to take between 10-30% cut in wages so I am expecting a cut in prices soon . With that , the bricklayers on site only have 2-3 months work left in front of them with over sites ready so there will be a concertina effect with other trades following on . The big fear I have been told from other contracts managers for subbies is when the furlough payments stop or ruduce then redundancies could follow by the end of the year possibly leading to the R word . Keep working and keep safe.
