I think that is the main aim, IF we can get through the next 12 months AND get a deal in the US then that gives us a fighting chance to become self funding. We are in a poor financial mess but time is what we need right now.
A balanced and honest post Eureka of where we are at the minute , just going of the last RNS where they are looking to raise more cash in a more traditional way suggests things are going on in the background that we are not yet aware of leaves me to think Cheek may just deliver on what he has said , just that it is not going ahead as quickly as he would like . Or it may just be lip service on his part , only time will tell.
Nissan, i understand your frustration , but as of yet we dont know what is being talked about behind the scenes if anything . What deal is being talked about re FDA and commissioning , Just remember Budd did nt even translate information about the hearing test into the local language .
I am not saying Cheek is the saviour just see what he comes up with IF ANYTHING????.
Unless they can see where £1-2m worth of shares will come from in the medium term that is what may need to happen . There are so many variables both good and bad it is hard to predict , the one positive is the tests and the profitable income they can generate once up and running , its just a matter of when.
I see the cheerful charlies are back . Nobody has said this WILL happen , we are just summizing what the probables could be in an adult manner, and then you turn up and blow it out of the water. I get you have your view as to what will happen and where it will go just try putting it over in a different less critisizing manner , after all we are all here to make money .
If enough funding is raised for 12 months plus say in the region of £7m ish then 50% would be about right but it would then take the worry out of funding and then the co could concentrate on communication the the said authorities and sales.
Neil , no need to applogise for getting it right, lol. I just feel Cheek is going to come up with something good , dont know why i just have the imression he sees this job as a stepping stone to something bigger and wants to prove himself to the big boys , and dont forget the chairman has a history of selling companies for a good profit. Just how far off are we really from getting both tests to market???. 6,12,18 months .
Roger, i am of the feeling that the BOD are looking at long term funding in the near term but i would be surprised if they goto RF. They might look at a more traditional type of funding but at a big discount OR they may go down a partner type deal but i see them getting rid of RF in some way , how i dont know , just my thoughts on the rns.
I am hoping that now the hearing test is in full use at a number of hospitals , it will be worked into new financial budgets from other hospitals . The more tests that are carried out the sooner we will get full approval but time lines are out of the boards hands , what i am hoping is Cheek is as pro active behind the scenes as he eluded to in his presentation, and yes like others i was expecting a lot more news this year than we have received.
great average Neil , not jealous at all with my 38p , BUT if we can keep solvent over the next 12 months i am confident of still getting a profit , hopefully a good one .
Roger, i am of similar thoughts . Cheek is a lot more pro active and it is clear from the RNS that they are looking to wrap up funding for medium term at least. For them to come to this conclusion they would need to know when and where they can predict sales and have an idea when they would be at break even point.
As they are predicting news in the following weeks then they would have an amount , an idea who with and at what terms , if this is the case then £7m minimum PLUS whatever the cost to get rid of RF but it may well be painful and at a cost but the main objective is to keep the lights on without the noose around our necks.
Would it be straightforward terms or a tie in with % of profits and sales ?????. What we need to remember is as and when full approval is gained and sales do start then self funding and profits will be easily obtained, all imo.
Winnimandela. that is a very well balanced view for me as to where we are and why. Like many goingon the presentation last year was expecting news not only on the FDA front but also on the special commissioning front , now that has either gone pear shaped OR it is proving to be a lot more complicated as first thought as i dont have Cheek in the same category as Dudd, ,, just yet.
