Without wanting to sound too much of a damp squid , but i feel some of the trades today and over the next couple of days will be just looking for a quick 20-30% profit. Now there is nothing wrong with that as that is what it is all about but that will just about take us to around 10p, with positive news next week will hopefully see us a lot higher.
Now the CEO has had time to get his feet under the table and assess where w are , i am hoping that on the 30th we get some concise news on the direction he wants to take the company and how this will be achieved as under Budd everthing seemed a bit wishy washy with no clear idea on aims and targets, time will tell.
System , i have not even got any words of wisdom for myself. hindsight is great just not helpful atm. i am going to sit it out until NICE results and see what they bring , i have a feeling something good will come along, what and when not sure but i have a big loss so far .
Slacker . i am not dressing it up at all , just pointing out that the rise yesterday is just games being played and nothing at all to get excited at all until we get bigger and consistant rises . Just for clarity my average is in the low 40 s and still feel i will end up with a profit , but we all look at things differently.
The slight increase in the sp has been happening for months , its the mm s way of making money , if all is the norm we will have a quiet few days and then some red . When we get some 20% plus rises then we will start to see a change.
Morning all, with the NICE news only 7 weeks or so away the question is will we see an increase in the sp in the hope we get a full approval or are we all expecting a conditional one as with AIHL?. For me it is looking likely a conditional approval will be the outcome but who knows with GDR. It will be interesting to see if the new CEO comes up with anything in the meantime as regards sales or finance which is the big stumbling block for most here it seems ?.
Gloria , i totally agree i thought i would be in and out within 6-12 months max but as is usually the case greed took over. 3 years on and still here. The main reason i am still here is that i can see the potential. For example if i sold now i would need at least a 350% increase in any shares i bought just to break even , and yes that could take years, BUT this has the potential to do that easily if/when we get NICE approval . Is it a given we will get it , no but quite likely. when who knows but in the next year or 2 quite possibly and in the mean time trading chances to reduce my average. Is this the right way , not at all but the best way atm.
Stocksaint, i think we have all read the releases but struggling to understand the reasoning behind them , it is a test that works , one that NICE like and then the brakes are put on. Why bother fast tracking it and then not follow it through ????????.
I totally agree Rodney with the EVA fast track , the whole point is to get it into the system , not delay it for another 3 years imo , System you and me both my friend . Pointless being invested if you are not hopeful for upturns.
System , unfortunately the 3 years are starting from this year when the EVA was put in place . I also get that they want more data on its accuracy and effects on different races etc , what i dont get is why reccomend it ?. This is a test not a drug, and Gloria rightly pointed out that if it was mis diagnosed there is a blame cause for suing so why then not focus on different parts of the country which could be overseen and supervised. The testing should be speeded up to proove once and for all is it good enough or just good . I would be gutted if any of my grand kids in the future or friends kids ended up without their hearing because the ones in power AND with the knowhow of what they want just sit on their hands which happens far to often here and do nothing.
What is the point of EVA?, the whole idea is that NICE decided that the hearing test is something that will benefit the NHS and us the customers, they hold a meeting and decide it is good BUT they want more data. THEN instead of giving it a full reccomendation they decide to put conditions on it but will help with the data but it is limited to trial areas. Why not give it a full reccomendation but stipulate to the company they MUST keep data on all tests and then stipulate the data must be ready for assesment every 3 months and if not it will be revoked , by doing this it is rolled out across the country meaning more data is accrued and quicker thus meaning they can make a better judgment call AND less children will lose their hearing . The cost would be about £m per annum , how much do we send overseas as aid to other countries, how much do we spend on subsidised MEP s and MP s expenses and meals , this is and will affect hundreds if not thousands of live FFS. Rant over, have a good sunday all.
Roger , i get that you feel the sp wont get that high but if you really feel 20p will be a push within 3 years , surely it would be better to sell up now, use the money raised to invest and hopefully make some money and then come back in say 2 years or so and then hope for full approval, by the way this is meant as a serious question .
