Munmir, in an ideal world yes but when you go to carry out the transaction it may not be that bad PLUS it may well be covered as and when you do your tax return unless you are one of the few lucky ones in profit.
System , i really really hope it comes off for you mate, once we here what funding is going to be you will be able to make a balanced decision on what to do . i am hoping with funding you may even be able to break even this year with your current average.
Following on from that , surely the test is more cost effective in the long run, yes the machines have to be purchased along with the tests compared to transportation of the tests to the lab then tests run then uploading information which can then lead to human error , whereas with the test it eliminates a lot of paperwork and human error with a much faster turn around. I do tend to take my time to read. read listen and then ponder for a while to look at as many angles as possible , my initial reaction to the presentation was not great , but now apart from timelines i am a lot more positive and i believe funding will happen possibly at a fairly big discount but happen none the less.
Every test goes wrong at some point , there is no such thing as 100% , that is why the NHS spend billions of pounds in compo, but it has a success rate better than what is on the market and being used right now, even lab tests dont work on 100%.
For me it is the wording , in Feb 23 it was announced NICE had preliminary reccomended the stroke test , for the hearing it is saying reccomended , one word missing which for me gives a whole new meaning to the outcome. Even if we had an inside contact would anyone believe them ???.
System , my thoughts are ,1 news was delayed for a reason , and that being we have now seen this has been compared to the existing test and lab tests and ours came out tops. 2 the delay was nothing to do with the test purely down to NICE , now was it that they had never given full reccomendation straight off even though they new it works ???, just my thoughts and reasonings whereas the hearing test was so unique and nothing else to compare it too.
Also why are the company looking to raise capitol not just to keep the lights on but also for production purposes ie machine and tests and not just for the hearing test.
It makes you wonder why the results have been delayed when it has been said specifically it is nothing to do with the test more so logistically with NICE , with appraisals and comparisons the the other test already used by the NHS , their own results show Gendrive is better in speed , accuracy and cost effectiveness, so what else do they need to appove , all the data is there for them , it is now just a box ticking exercise.
I have always thought this will be a takeover target what with the tests and IP but always thought we would need to have both tests and approved worldwide before offers came in. Maybe sales with the hearing test and FDA application underway may tempt an offer, any thoughts ???????
All correct on funding and just hoping full approval will come in July. JC also mentioned funding is also for taking the company forward so i again am assuming this will include commercialisation as regards producing /funding machines and tests. Timewise it matches up with NHS funding the stroke test in October and FDA application towards the end of the year, so finances needed prior to this to have said items in place .
Stocksaint, totally get what you are saying regarding II investors, it now makes me think could this have been down to Budd and his lathargic attitude , for me Cheek is a completely different in that he wants to get things done and is a lot more proactive but hates the politics that go with regulations and approvals . Exactly how many childrens hearing have to be saved before the accountants and paper shufflers decide to accept the test . Doctors , nurses and consultants can see it , this is the biggest problem with the NHS too many chiefs and not enough indians, rant over ...... for now.
I totally agree re CFO, nothing inspired me at all, JC seemed really fed up but i think frustration has kicked in with how slow things are going and he mentioned this when talking about the election coming up and focus being on that instead of people doing the job they are paid to do but instead trying to save their own neck . As long as we get funding then it will be what it is but the timelines for FDA is surprising , its a swab test FFs and has been used for the last year , do other countries and people have that much difference in DNA . At least we now have some better ideas re timelines which up until now we have had to guess so in a way it gives us a better understanding whether we like it or not.
Seemed like it has been mentioned and he is against it as his answer was of distain. Not happy with FDA timelines though, at least 2027 before any possible conformation.
Lets just say we get news of collaberation for FSA application , that could take as little as 150 days for news AND THEN we get placing news at say 30% discount that will get bought into like a shot and that is for only the hearing test , the stroke test is worth double to GDR.
Welcome back Roger, i am hoping that is the way it will go but who knows been wrong many times. Its funny how this has been rising over the last couple of days but no RNS from the company to put the brakes on, must be some more good news coming????
While a blue day is always good to see , the news is way bigger. If this is full approval which it seems to be , by October funding will have to be provided for tests and machines, NOT only that but NICE carries a lot of cudos around the world so this alone will open sales potential around the world. £150m per annum can be expected as revenue ONCE it gets into full flow which yes it will take years but when you are looking for a partner in the US to help fund the hearing test, its not a bad carrott to have in your pocket.
As so many have mentioned we WILL require funding but the BOD have said they are looking at a normal route to funding so basically saying the RF has not panned out the way they hoped .
I am hoping news on the FDA route first with funding to follow so not to need any drawdowns from RF.
I did read today that someone thinks this will never reach double figures lol, what a plonker.
For me it is the other way round, get funding in place to give the company time to get everything else in place , Cheek is a can do type but that will only go so far, FDA could be as little as 6 months , a partner to help fund it , special commissioning , why the delay with the stroke test if it is nothing to do with the test, more overseas sales, will all take time . Funding is the main priority for me .
