Early-entry partnerships
In March 2019, we announced that we had entered into a farm-in agreement with Greatland Gold in relation to the Havieron tenement. Havieron is located within the Paterson Province, Western Australia,
45 kilometres east of Telfer. Subject to
a successful exploration programme and feasibility study, Havieron may provide
a supplementary source of higher-grade ore for Telfer. This will potentially materially improve Telfer’s production costs and mine life. The Havieron project matches Newcrest’s deep mining capability, and its proximity to Telfer positions it ideally to take advantage of Telfer’s existing processing capacity.

The grouping patterns of certain elements at Scallywag are similar to those that were seen in MMI sampling over the Havieron prospect.
Highlights of New Exploration Programme
· Extensive new geophysical surveys, including IP and ground gravity, to follow encouraging early exploration results at high-priority Scallywag prospect.

· Ground gravity survey (to commence in August):

o Ground gravity will be collected across the Scallywag prospect and surrounding areas.

o Approximately 1,580 gravity stations are planned at 400m x 200m spacing, infilling to 200m x 200m across the Scallywag prospect itself.

· Induced Polarisation survey (to commence in September):

o 25 line kilometres of high-powered, deep-sensing 2D IP planned across the Scallywag prospect.

o The IP technique has the ability to detect disseminated sulphide mineralisation like that seen at the Havieron prospect, and will also assist in structural mapping and determining cover depth.

· 3D modelling of the gravity and detailed aeromagnetic data will be completed and reviewed with IP profiles to determine drill targets.



Gervaise Heddle, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Scallywag is one of our high priority gold-copper targets in the Paterson region and we are excited to be driving forward with a systematic exploration programme. Results from last year's MMI survey at Scallywag reinforced its potential to host copper, silver and gold mineralisation, and the large size of the target, combined with its relative proximity to the Havieron prospect, makes it an obvious candidate for further comprehensive follow-up work."

The Company has received a binding option exercise notice from Gervaise Heddle for 28,000,000 options at 0.28p exercise price for a total consideration of £78,400. As a result of this option conversion, 28,000,000 new ordinary shares are expected to be admitted to trading on or around 3 October 2019 ("Admission").

Good old Ricky Gervaise has NOT sold 28m shares he has excercised the option and purchased 28m :)

These results have defined a series of higher-grade zones within a broad envelope of mineralisation and provide further support to our view that Havieron has the potential to become a truly significant, underground mining operation in one of the most mining-friendly jurisdictions in the world.

"From a technical perspective, there are a number of positives contained within these results that I would highlight. First, each of drill holes HAD012, HAD013 and HAD014 intersected significant widths of mineralisation (in excess of 100m at better than 2g/t gold) and higher-grade zones within those intersections, including an interval of 43m @ 7.9g/t Au, 0.83% Cu from 900m in HAD012. Second, each of the three drill holes above extended the known mineralised envelope of the system, primarily to the north and the west. Third, these results establish a new peak gold grade for the system of 324.9g/t gold (in excess of 10 ounces of gold per tonne).

"We are very pleased that Newcrest has successfully advanced Phase 1 and is now initiating Phase 2 of their Havieron exploration programme which includes plans for a significant increase in the amount of drilling. We look forward to providing further updates on Newcrest's drilling campaign at Havieron and Greatland's ongoing exploration activities across the Paterson."

Corporate and € 5.3 m Grant Update

W Resources Plc (AIM:WRES), the tungsten, tin and gold mining company announces that it will release its results for the six months to 30 June 2019 on Monday 30 September 2019.

With completion of the plant construction (RNS 29 August 2019), the Company has now satisfied the two major conditions required to apply for the €5.3m Grant from the Junta de Extremadura. The two conditions are minimum investment in plant and equipment of € 16.6m and the creation of at least 20 full time positions, and we are thus progressing documentation to formally apply to receive this Grant.

During the half year and subsequently, as previously disclosed:

· Caja Rural de Extremadura provided a loan of €3m at 3% interest rate against the previously awarded €5.3m Grant, from the Junta de Extremadura Government (RNS 9 May 2019)

· BlackRock Financial Management Inc. agreed to capitalise the last two interest payments of the BlackRock term loan, which equated to US$1.29m, and was added to the final loan balance (RNS 7 August 2019)

At 30 June 2019, cash at bank was €801,148, and the Spanish VAT receivable was €1,002,996.

The La Parrilla Concentrator Plant has commenced commissioning following the detailed installation of the Motor Control Centre ("MCC") including all electrical connections and associated plant completion work. Commissioning of the spirals and shaking tables buildings 'on water' has commenced, which is an important phase prior to feeding ore through. Ore will be introduced into the circuit with first concentrate production from the new Concentrator Plant planned in September, as announced on 7 August 2019.

Michael Masterman, Chairman of W Resources commented: "The commencement of commissioning of the new Concentrator Plant is a long-awaited event and is a major step forward for W Resources. It is important to note that commissioning ensures a streamlined start-up of the ramp-up of tungsten and tin production. The Crusher and Jig & Mill Plants are operations ready and we have maintained the low-cost nature of this impressive world class project by ensuring each phase is delivered to the highest standards as we prepare for first concentrate production in September."
