The exclusivity period between the joint developers of the Billingham Energy waste gasification and power plant has been extended again, EQTEC PLC (LON:EQT) said.

The agreement, last extended in October 2019, has been extended to September 22 of this year.

Since the last extension, EQTEC has been in discussion with potential co-developers and funders of the project and some of these discussions are progressing well.
